I can't wait to hear about everyone's experience at Brown Derby. It's a place that has interested me for a while so perhaps it'll be in my future (and it's all going to be based on your reviews! ;)).

I swear I checked in here already.... I guess not. :lmao:

I'm here now and ready to see all your new plans. *can't wait*

I can't wait to read your review on Garden Grill. It sounds like veggies/salad and bbq.....my kind of food.......well actually I will eat just about anything:lmao: Now I am curious........must go find its menu and where the heck is it located:confused3
Happy planning to Scott and Biff (Ok maybe just to Scott) Biff you are one lucky guy with Scott doing all the work. pirate:

Great changes Scott! I'm glad you'll be trying Garden Grill. :thumbsup2
I've heard great things about Brown Derby - I'll have to try that on an adult only trip.

I'm an ip-dip...what is TAT?

Otherwise, looks (mostly) good! :thumbsup2
mostly because I hate sci-fi.

Hurray I am all caught up!!!! :woohoo: I'm glad to see you changed to Garden Grill. I think you'll be happy with that place. I also see that you have the brown derby fantasmic package so that means your going to see fantasmic this time, which is very exciting! At least it is to me because I love tanstasmic and hopefully you'll take lots of pics. Hehe. I can't believe those girls said they only ate hotdogs. Were they blind or something? Sheesh :sad2: There is tons of good food in the world! :goodvibes

One day closer!! I really like the Garden Grill as well! Can't wait to see how the Brown Derby package is!
:woohoo:
I can't wait for both places, never been to either.

I was thinking of making an ADR at Captnjacks too. Not sure if DH will like it, though. He's such a picky eater.
really :confused3 there is chicken, pot roast, pasta and seafood. basically something for everyone.

Have to admit, we did NOT like Brown Derby at all, except for dessert. (The Grapefruit Cake is to die for! :cool1: )

It was a place I was SO looking forward to! :guilty: The food wasn't very good, the service was terrible, and it was quite expensive. This was a number of years ago, and really haven't had the courage to try it again, that's how big the disappointment was the first time! :headache:

We did try to get "dessert to go" last June, but they were too busy. "Starring Rolls" sells the grapefruit cake, but it wasn't opened in the evening. go figure :confused3

I'm an ip-dip

::yes::

I heard PTC was great but I gotta believe the Brown Derby is the way to go. :thumbsup2

Ooops, shoulda finished reading before I said that.

Cap'n Jacks Margarita stand is great. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Now, are you eating at the restaurant also? Or just going to the stand? popcorn::

Don't hit it TOO hard... save some for me! Oh wait, we are going before you! :rotfl:

I hope that Biff doesn't chicken out on TOT. If he get sick on things then I may have a solution. I get motion sickness that can be pretty bad. I wear wristbands that you can buy at any local drugstore. They help me through many different things. (tea cups, soarin',RnR, and other's) They even helped when I had morning sickness while pregnant. They are wonderful and really work for me. You might want to have them try.

I have decided to cancel Sci-Fi. We will probably just eat at ABC. But who knows. If they come out with free dining (I have it already from bounce back) It may be harder to get into places. I should figure things out soon huh??

Hey Scott-
Just wanted to tell you that I finished your Jan. 08 TR is morning. Loved all the pictures. Please tell me that those children mailed you a thank you card once you were home. My Christmas shopping list is getting a lot smaller this coming year because of ungrateful nieces and nephews that can't be bother to send a thank you card (they are adults no less!)

Can't wait for the Sept 08 trip report!

Scott - I don't mean to hijack your PTR, but maybe you have the answers to these questions too.

1 - has anyone ever seen people (or very many people) actually getting sick on the rides? or after?
2 - are those Seabands you're talking about?
3 - so with bounce back you get free dining? what a bargain! Is that always or just sometimes? How do you find out about the bounce back? Do they put something in your room?

She went to Disneyland and WDW and picked her favorites. it is listed on here if you want to see them. It is on April 11 at 9pm.

Here is the link if you want to read. I cannot wait.

I got the chance to see Samantha Brown on my last trip. They were filming at EPCOT for the Christmas at Disney World show. It was interesting to watch!

Biff told me that he will not go any rides till he sees them first. Now I have to find them on youtube and show him.

I said I am not going on alone. We shall see. I am sure he will go.
Did he go on any rides during the last trip?
Ok here is what I did.

Canceled San Angel Inn and booked Garden Grill for 12:40pm. :woohoo:

canceled my 12:10 lunch at Sci-fi for a 11:05 lunch at Sci-fi.

Canceled 50's PTC for a 4:40pm Brown Derby Package.

Canceled Fridays Brown Derby Package for sometime at DTD and Cap't Jacks at 7:10pm.
Maybe even see TAT this evening. Tat you will find me by the margarita stand. :lmao:
Garden Grill is a good one. Food is good & the price is not unreasonable. Characters too!!
Brown Derby from PTC?? That sounds like an upgrade! Fantasmic!!!:woohoo:

To answer:

1.-I have gotten sick after MS and SM. MS was bad....had to go back to the room bad. SM...I just did not feel well for a little while.

2.- Yes those are Sea Bands I am talking about

3.-I was told by my cousin who went in Sept. '07 about a bounceback program. It was if you made a ressie for next Sept. '08 you could get free dining. I did not get a paper in my room but since I knew about it I called before I checked out. (I was also there in Sept. but at a different time than she was)

Hope this better explains things for you

Sorry Scott

I am jealous of you all, I have never seen any of these WDW travel shows. I keep hearing about them but I don't think we get them in Canada. :sad1:

has anyone been on a disney cruise? I was just wondering if it was as good as everyone says it is? I am scared of getting sea sick so I will def be investing in those bracelets a pp mentioned. I am also thinking I might try wearing one and going on the tea cups b/c I've always been to scared to do it. So thanks to whoever suggested that. :)

I cant believe BIff is trying to be a party pooper not going on the rides. Maybe he is just pulling your leg trying to get you nervous. I agree with showing him some you-tube vids. Keep us possted.
I like the ADR changes:thumbsup2
