Scott- you don't know me but I have seen you around these boards. I am subscribing. I have subscribed to others' reports in the past without telling them and just lurked without realizing I was lurking. When I finally came out of hiding, I realized they must think I'm a stalker. So I'm telling you now, in case I hit a reply later and freak you out! :lmao:

Anyway, I am looking forward to catching up on your PTR when I can and watching your planning. I'll take whatever tips I can steal from you! I hope you enjoy the planning and the trip.

I have never been. This will be our first year so someone else would have more info.
It's the Halloween party though at MK.
The whole park is decorated and they have a special parade with a headless horseman.
Characters are in Halloween costumes.
You get to trick or treat in the park. Adults also. I read on one thread of 4 adults going together, dressed up, and trick or treating. They had a ball so that hooked me in. My kids will be 19 and 16 on the trip. They are looking forward into trying this. (We have been to WDW several times, so this would be something new for them to try.)
It does take an extra ticket.
Click around on the DIS. They have photos and videos to look at.

That sounds fun. Thank you for the info. Maybe we will do it. We are going Sept 21-26 and it looks like it is going on once or twice during that time.

Maybe they only saw the inside of Casey's
Hmmm I wonder which ADRs you're going to change.
Auctions are lots of fun, especially when there's an open bar
If I do drive to Orange County, probably only a couple of days. There really isn't as much to see in DL.
:lmao:
I am still worklng that all out.
it is not cheaper to hop on a flgiht to LA?

210 here!
your right behind me.

Wow 21 pages already?!?! My how your PTR is growing!
Aw its not that far away. The time will fly by!
I'm glad you called back and got a CM that actually knew what they were talking about.
that is what I thought when I opened it.
CM's that know are helpful.

You are sure one popular guy Scott!! Hey 173 days will fly by in no time!! And if not, we are here to help pass the time...lol
Am I? :confused3
I am sure it will.
thanks, that will help.

I'm a little late on this one, but I'll be following along too!
(hey, 2 posts in a row from Winnipeg people!)
:woohoo: welcome.
:woohoo: for Winnipeg. :confused3 where is it? :rotfl2:

look on youtube also. the parade and fireworks are there.

Thanks for posting this! I am planning on 9/12-9/15 but was only doing 2 parks (Epcot and AK) I just MIGHT swing this as a surprise to my best friend! What time does it usually start and are all the rides open?
they were not all open for P&PP. I know that.

I have been to the Halloween Party twice and plan on going during our trip this year. (that is if they have it on the 5th) It is a hard ticket event with dance parties and candy give aways. The parade is all decked out in "spooky stuff" All the characters are in costume. It is fun. And it is usually not soooo crowded but I am sure that depends on when you go. We went the first year and there was hardly anyone. The next time (2 years later) there were waits for everything. But I think that is true for Disney in general. You can go on allearsnet.com and check it out if you want. Hope this helps.
People do get dressed up and some of the costumes are wonderful. A group was dressed like Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook, Smee, Micheal and John. I think maybe even Tiger Lily. They were amazing. My DD wanted her pic with them. The gates open at 4 (not sure if this will be true again) And you can go with the other guests. They will give out wristbands and start getting not non-party guest out at 7.
no dressing up here, but still want to have fun.

WOW two of us on one thread!! LOL I am surprised at how many Winnipeggers are on here....
Sorry that was :offtopic: LOL won't happen again
no problem. :lmao:

cute

:lmao: :thumbsup2
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Yes someone answered very quickly. Your "followers" are very helpful

As for the bounceback, I didn't know they did it at the parks. I know it was offered on the cruises..not to us apparantly category 1-3 did not get that discount. oh well. So perhaps I will get another trip in January? Maybe won't take my kids....just me and Mary doing the world in style. j/k they won't let us leave without them.

Thanks for the welcome. I plan to stick around till September and beyond even. Can't wait to go over and read your trip report.

Not everyone gets the card in the room but if you watch the information channels down there it is offered on there.

She went to Disneyland and WDW and picked her favorites. it is listed on here if you want to see them. It is on April 11 at 9pm.

I thought I was the only crazy person that loved watching all the disney world shows on the travel channel:cool1: - half of them I've seen like 20 times but i still love them. I costly doing a search on my digital cable to see if there is anything scheduled to show. But anywho.. I seen Samantha Brown and it made me smile because my DF doesn't like her but I love her. I love all her shows.. shes possibly my idol!

I might just do it!

Let me ask you this, you seem very very popular in trip reports and all. When you are traveling do you make the little cards up for dis'ers you run into that says you can follow my trip report at this link? When we were on our cruise we had a "famous" dis'er that had done that.

:lmao: :lmao:

I love Samantha Brown! Thanks Scott!
3 more days ...
me too. I cannot wait.

I love Samantha Brown too!!!
Thanks for sharing!
:woohoo:

No. I have no idea if I will be keeping the same report or if I will start a new one.

Biff told me that he will not go any rides till he sees them first. Now I have to find them on youtube and show him.

I said I am not going on alone. We shall see. I am sure he will go.

:sad2: What a stinker!

I am sure that youtube is full of videos -- I know I watched several of Everest beforehand to make sure that I could handle it.

Here's hoping that he changes his mind! :wizard:
