Does anyone know the name of a company form which I will be able to rent a scooter while at Disney? I need one for my father in-law and would prefer a service where it could be delivered right to the BLT.

Thanks.

There are a lot of companys who deliver scooters right to your resort. The one we have used is CARE. Just google ECV rental and Orlando area, and you will get a nice long list to choose from. As I recall, CARE was the least expensive when we did it, and when our scooter failed to charge, they had a new one there for us in just a couple hours.

If you're not sure in advance, what's nice to know is that you can go to lobby concierge and they'll give you the name of a place in Orlando (I think it was Walker Mobility that they told me about) that you can call and they'll deliver to the hotel. I gave the info to Mom and Dad because they're not sure if they'll need one in March (well, actually, Mom insists she'll be "fine", won't need one, but Dad just rolls his eyes behind her back!)

We rented a scooter from Randys Mobility. http://www.randysmobility.com for my FIL when we were there last summer. We were at AKL and they delivered it to us in the lobby and picked it up at the end our trip. We had no problems whatsoever and we would rent from them again

You need to really make sure they are charged. My MIL got one and a few hours later it died at MK. We had to walk the thing out of the park and on the bus to AKV.

We also were impressed with Randy's Mobility and will be using them again. They delivered and picked up and gave a demo on use.

We used Walker Mobility in 2007 and were very impressed with their service.

We booked with Apple Scooter and just rebooked with them for our next trip. $150 for the week and $10 for an additional day. Good Luck!

I highly recommend Walker's Mobility. We rented from them for my mother last summer and they were excellent. The quality of the scooter was excellent, and the service could not have been better.

I was not as happy with the Buena Vista Scooters a year earlier, though.

There is lots of information on our DISabilities board and here is a LINK to get over there.

We have rented from AA Rentals ~8 times and were always satisfied. I do know however several new companies have opened in the last 1-1 1/2 years which has helped lower prices due to the increased competition.

I appreciate all the responses, thanks for all the input.
