We are considering eating at the Sci-Fi at MGM on our trip in May. I have read some mixed reviews about this restaurant so now I'm not sure. Any information or opinions would be much appreciated in helping us to decide!!

Thanks!

Fun to look at, but we gave the food a unanimous thumbs down in July. We all ordered something different, too. If you do decide to go there, please do lunch -- you won't pay as much and apparently they do better with that menu than dinner.

I have gone there twice for lunch so I can't comment on the dinner menu but I will go back for lunch . Just as many others have said on this subject keep your menu choices simple. The Cheeseburger was my choice both previous times and it was good, a little pricey at $10 however at least it was a good size. The atmosphere is really neat there and although you can't eat atmosphere I really enjoy the place and can say the food choice I had was not a dissapointment at all.

We love the atmosphere of this place (and it always keeps the kids quiet and busy ) DH and I always have a drink, sitting in the "Backseat" We love to go here for our "last meal" 'cause we have "our time" to thank each other and discuss what a wonderful trip we've had. I had the Reuben which was huge (brought 1/2 home to eat on plane) DH had ribs (not as good as Whispering Canyon, but still ok) DH had Barbecue Chicken Sandwich (loved it) and DD had chicken nuggets. Free refills on drinks (including Shirley Temple's, DD favorite vacation libation). Not gourmet, but still fun!

Just ate there last week and although the atmosphere is adorable and one of a kind I would not eat there again. If I did I would order something simple like a burger and shake, I had the chicken dinner and it was horrible. The salmon was terrible too. Appetizers or sandwiches would be okay , I think. Service was not so good either!
