We have decided to go to Sci - Fi for either lunch or dinner, probably dinner because of the shorter hours in Oct don't want to waste time at a sit down restaurant.

My question is what is the menu like, food options and prices. Also would you think I need reservations or if I could just make them that day??? We are going to be there the last week of Oct.

Thanks

Use www.wdwig.com. Deb has listed the menu. I always like to have a PS before I go, that way I don't have a long wait for a sit-down meal.

Sci-fi is sit-down. Good burgers and onion rings.

Sci Fi is one of my husband's and my favorite places to eat. We usually go for lunch. Our last trip (end of June) we went for dinner - big mistake. Sci Fi is a bit pricey, but there's a good variety of interesting stuff for lunch and the ambiance is fantastic.
The dinner menu, however, is different and I wasn't overly impressed. My 18.95 steak was not worth half what I paid for it. I can do a better job cooking it on my own grill, and I'm not that good a chef! My husband did say he enjoyed his catfish entree very much. However, I left there disappointed. I think we'll stick to lunch there from now on.

I really like the Sci-Fi for lunch. They have great pasta dishes. If you have kids, this place is a must! My daughter is 17 and really has never had the experience of a drive-in theater. This is probably as close as she'll get.:)

My family loves the Sci Fi. We have never had dinner but we always have a late lunch there. The portions are very large and we usually have a light dinner back at our hotel.

We've done dinner there twice and have a dinner ps for our upcoming trip. It is a little pricey but we feel it's worth it for the atmosphere. They kids love it. I don't know what crowds are like in Oct but we always make PS's for dinners.

Personally, I love the atmosphere of Sci-Fi, but the food is so-so. DH and I like to go in the mid afternoon and just have dessert. You get all the atmosphere and the desserts have not dissapointed us yet.

jkovick, what desserts have you tried? That's a great idea to go just for dessert - great way to beat the heat, rest and recharge.

We also love the Sci-fi and try to make it for lunch each trip. Yes, it is a little pricey, but not that much more than other sit down places. The atmosphere is terrific. This past trip in July we even bought the kids the light-up ice cubes for their drinks.

Cassie-Dh almost got the rueben but didn't and wished he had when he saw one go by.
