We currently have ressies for Sci-Fi, and planned to just have dessert. Who has better dessert, though...SF or 50's PT? Where would you go, if just going for dessert, and wanted the experience?? Thanks
THis is not always the case--we have tried this place twice and each occasion have asked for an interactive waiter or waitress--one time waiting an additional 30 min. for one and each time it was a DUD!! We will never go back.
Each offer a wild assortment of fun drinks but the dessert are basic. Between these two we would select the SCI-FI since it is more kid oriented and has a more open atmosphere with no one hovering over our table.
50's DINER
S'mores
Ice Cream Sundaes
Brownie Sundae - brownie with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and caramel topping
Seasonal Cobbler or ala mode
Ice Cream Sodas
Angel Food Cake - with fresh berries and whipped cream
VS
SCI-FI
Hot Fudge Sundae - A Sci-Fi sundae spectacular!
Warm Apple & Pecan Crisp
Chocolate Tart with a mix of chocolate mousse, fudge and ganache
Cheesecake with caramel sauce and treats
I believe the kitchen sink is at Beaches and Cream, don't recall anything like that at 50's. At 50's PT they have a "Dad's Super Sundae" that is really big, really good and reasonabley priced.
You made an excellent choice! They are both so fun, the quintessential Disney Dining experience. I love them both. The thing that is really nice about Sci Fi, is that is very relaxing in there. The whole place is quiet as everyone is mesmerized by the screen and its corny movie flicks! You can split a burger, have some shakes and then have your big meal at Prime Time later on. Which is not quiet or relaxing but will keep you laughing while you enjoy your comfort food.
