SCI-FI...don't make same mistake

I'm sure this is well known, however, I wasn't aware of this and was not told at the restaurant.

Lunch is considered TABLE service.

Of course I was in for a surprise later in the week when I drained my TS down to 0 on Wednesday.

Ended up leaving with 2 CS and 4 snack credits left.

On a side note...my 7 yr old really liked hoop-de-do...we had a front row table! Show was good - food was avg.

Anywhere you go in and sit down and they bring you your food is table service. It doesn't matter if it's breakfast, lunch or dinner .

1) Please read the literature you were given at check-in.
2) It clearly states the TS, CS, and Snack eateries/meals.
3) Many people get surprised when they don't read the instructions.

Were you seated at a table, and a waitress came and took your order? That would make it Table Service.

That's not 100% true. At the Pepper Market, I was seated and had a waiter. The entire menu was considered CS - even steak and potatos for lunch.

That's actually the only exception CS meal that's borderline TS and it includes a gratuity of like 10% or something from what I understand. Sounds like a great place to do lunch on the DDP

If you're on the DDP, the CSR is a great place to stay. If not, then it could get expensive. Great selection at the Pepper Market.

We didn't plan on eating there - made a wrong turn @ MGM and came upon it. So no reservations...we didn't get one of the regular car tables...she was disappointed in that. She didn't like the food either. Thought she was getting chicken strips, but it turned out to be grilled chicken. The menu was pretty limited for kids.

The movies/clips jumped from theme to theme and was very uninteresting(to us).

I didn't really like the food other than my chile I ordered. Def won't be returning.

My 8yo DS loves this place. Actually the whole family does.

Its the only thing poor DH requests every trip.

Was the OP just being sarcastic? I remember Sci- FI... I know I was given a menu w/ prices on it, and I know I was not impressed with the atmosphere or the food. Still~ After seeing the menu/ prices when ordering (kinda~ It is dark!) I was still to see our bill

Unrelated, but I've read posts where people were also upset when they found out (after eating there) that Beaches & Cream is a TS.

There are currently no eateries that are CS during one meal and TS during another -- it's either all CS or all TS. That may change this summer, but for now, it works.

best burgers & onion rings on property and HUGE!!!! DD (21) and I split at TS here and still didn't have room for dessert! And the movie clips are hysterical!! But maybe you have to be "old" with fond memories of nights at the drive-in to appreciate dancing popcorn!!!

Only drinks are served at the Pepper Market. You have to go to the various stations to order and pick up your food. There is a service charge. There is not menu provided, the selections are on boards at each station.

The "waiters" at the Pepper Market do not take your order and bring your food to your table, at least they did not when we stayed there last. It is more of a high end foodcourt.
