Sci Fi Dine-In Theater

Does anybody know how they accommodate high chairs here? I know Benjamin will be really upset if we can't eat in a car because of his brother, and I don't know how well William will eat in a booster that isn't buckled. Any thoughts/ideas?

BLT soup :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 two thumbs up! It's lovely creamy tomato soup with bits of bacon and shredded lettuce on top. It's wonderful.

I think what I liked so much about the burger was that it was a) hot (no heat lamps for that patty) and the toppings were plenty (I love friend onions and mushrooms on a burger). The fries were also super crispy and hot.

The last time I was there I also had an awesome server (Tony). Even though I was there solo, I never actually felt alone.

Does anyone know if the milkshakes are included as a drink on the dining plan?

My family loves the Sci-Fi. We have an ADR again in April.

The BLT soup is outstanding, as is the Reuben. The kids have gotten the burgers, chicken sadwiches and of course onion rings.

Shakes are outstanding.

We have reservations there during our March 2011 trip, and we are very excited! We are not expecting gourmet food, just a fun time. I hope all goes well!

We had wanted to eat at Sci Fi for several years and finally did this past October. Well, never again.

The fun ambiance is definitely the reason to eat here.

I agree Disnut. And I knew this going in. But still, we spent like $40 bucks before tax and tip, and nothing was very tasty at all.

We had the Spinach Artichoke dip to start, and it was easily the worst spinach artichoke dip I've ever had. It was watery in consistency and tasted the same. $9 bucks down the tubes.

I had the mixed greens salad. It was one of the most lackluster salads I've ever had. Also watery tasting and just blah. On our drive to Disney World, I had a side salad at Cracker Barrel that put this one to shame.

My husband had the reuben. According to him, it was ok. My daughter had the mac and cheese. It was typical Disney mac and cheese.

The ambience is unique, obviously, but IMO not unique enough to justify (a) the high cost of the lackluster, blah food, nor (b) taking up the spot of one of your Disney dining experiences, since there are so many great experiences out there.

Paying that bill was kind of painful. I don't mind paying for good food, but I felt sad leaving that place.

P.S. The service was the worst we had that week. We felt "forgotten" most of the time.

Just never again.
