Sci Fi Car Number Question

We (my family of 4), my dm and inlaws will be in Disney
Oct. 21-28.
Although we have all been many times, my inlaws have not and thought it would be fun to take them to the Sci-Fi for lunch.
It will be 7 of us. I don't recall seeing cars that big but only tables. Is that correct?
I know I can call but thought you guys would know.

I guess it depends on your party, don't know if you have little kids or not...

there are 3 rows to a car, and generally 2 to a row; so that makes 6 people to a car. they usually put larger parties in tables that have "car ends".

but if you have 3 little children, they may be able to fit to 1 row. and then all 7 would fit in a car.

In November, we had 7 in one car... 2 adults, 2 adults, and kids 11, 9, & 7

We have ressies for 7 in Dec and they said they will put us in 2 cars. They will tell you if they want to put you at one of the tables because they know most people want to sit in the cars.

Some of the cars on seat 4 people (two rows - two people each). So you can request a car alone. As there were only two of us we shared a car with a family of four. You can request it either way.

There are cars that seat 6,

tables that seat 8,

and picnic tables in the back.

I've never noticed any cars for 4, but it would make sense if they did have them.

The problem with a large group eating at the Sci Fi, other than the food is very average, and the atmosphere is very strange, each car row seats only 3, maybe 4 with small kids comfortably. Your group will be seated in separate rows. Everyone faces a large screen, therefore the only way to converse with the other members of your group is to awkwardly turn around. Its eerily quiet in the large warehouse type place, because the sound to the B movie playing is turned way down and people are for some reason trying to listen. So if you turn around and speak to people sitting behind you, it's like everyone in the place can hear you. Very strange.

We have eaten there several times, I remember that we (family of four), usually get a car for 4. One time we actually were given a car for six and two "hitchhikers". Since we had kids our party was in the front and they were placed in the rear seat. We never noticed they were there.

Not if you get a car for 4--you can sit however you'd like (2 in front or 2 in back) and they won't put any single riders in with you.

If you're in a car for 6, you may have "hitchhikers" behind you. But like rcraw said, you all will be facing forward watching the movies, and you likely won't even notice them.
