Could anyone share opinions or information about this? Thanks:D

We love Sci Fi! The theming is so fun. You sit in "cars" and watch cheesy clips of old sci fi movies and cartoons. It's great! I'd highly recommend going for lunch instead of dinner and sticking to burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. Those foods are great at Sci Fi, but you won't hear many good things about anything else on the menu.

I agree. The movie previews are great. But it is a lunch spot. Burgers andfries and great milk shakes.

We love the Sci-fi for lunch. We like their burgers, shakes, and their Black Forest Ham Sandwich. The kids love the movie clips and sitting in cars. We've always had a great experience there. We go every trip for lunch.

We love it for lunch... the food is a bit pricey (but what isn't in Disney, right!?LOL!) The atmosphere is great and my girls got a big kick out of it!

we love this restaurant too! I would recommend the flank steak sandwich, the ribs, the Martian Marsha milkshake, popcorn chowder and the artichoke spinach dip - YUM!

We LOVE the Sci fi!! My DD actually picked this restaurant for her sweet 16 birthday celebration meal!!! You can still get the burgers, fries, onion rings during dinner hours!!! We did on our last trip!!! You just have to ask!!!

My DH and I ate there 10/03 on our honeymoon and had a great time. We had a great waiter and we definately plan on returning this fall with our DD. We ate at a huge variety of places and SciFi ranks close to the top.

We love the Sci-Fi for lunch. It is always one of our "must dos". The kids love eating in the cars. I usually order a burger and either a root beer float or milkshake. Last year we celebrated dd's birthday and she got a free parfait that looked terrific.

Sci-Fi is great fun for the atmosphere but IMO, the food wasn't anything to brag about. Just regular, run of the mill burgers, shakes, etc. But it's all a matter of opinion. My sister loves it and the food too, whereas my parents and I could skip over it with no problem

We were there last week and DS8 LOVED it! We had a PS for 5:00, but we had a late lunch at Pizza Planet so DH and I had desserts (sundae for him, Cookie Monster for me). DS had a burger and fries and a vanilla milkshake. The fries were the crinkle cut ones, but he seemed to like them. I tasted one and thought it wasn't that great. I ended up eating half of his burger and it was fine - not fabulous, but fine. Not tough or overcooked or anything. The atmosphere is great. Our waitress, Valeria, made a Mickey head on DS's plate with the ketchup. He thought that was terrific! She also gave him a little "driver's license" that he wrote his name on. Very cute! DS didn't finish his shake so we got a to-go cup for it. We had fun, and it was practically empty when we were there.

We ate there for the first time last week and enjoyed it. The cookies and creme shakes are great. 3 of us had burgers and fries that were good. DH had the flat iron steak and enjoyed it. Loved the atmosphere. Good waiter, although he got sidetracked with a large party, and was delayed in getting back to our table with the check.

I agree with most of the others here: good burgers, rings, and shakes and fun atmoshphere. It's kind of nice being in a low light setting when the sun is blazing outdoors.:earsboy:

So would you recommend ps? How busy does it get? I prefer not to have ps if it's not necessary, that way we don't have to be there at a certain time.

For us,a PS and "having to be there" is preferrable to "starving, cranky, and having to wait". YMMV :earsboy:

This is one of our favorites - love the atmosphere!! So much fun, especially when people get the glowing ice cube drinks!

I enjoyed it. The roller skating waitstaff fits in well. I had the ribs when I was there just over a year ago, and due to the setting, how could I not have a shake? ;)

We like going for lunch--burgers and fries. Make a PS so you don't have to wait very long. It's a nice way to take a break during the day because the restaurant is dark and quiet.

You know, maybe I was there on a good day, but the Shrimp Penne Pasta was really good. Spinich and capers, count me in. My wife's burger, on the other hand, was a bit dry.
