"School Bread" in Norway

I'm hoping someone can tell me about the school bread in Norway at Epcot. I've heard many good things about it. Can someone please describe what it is? Thanks so much!

It's a little bit like a custard filled doughnut, except the dough part isn't as sweet as a doughnut. It's then coated with a confectioner's sugar glaze and topped with coconut. It's pretty large, so it's good to share, or make sure you're really hungry.

It is DH's favorite treat in all of the World! I definitely get my custard fix with a Skol Brod/School Bread.

Had my first one just this April. My first bite was just the bread, and I thought, "Ugh, what's the big deal?" Then I got to the custard and coconut, and OMG!! It was wonderful. I couldn't finish the whole thing, though.

Excellent description! I can only add that the combination of custard, coconut, icing and "bread" is delicious. Overall, it is close to as good as the Napoleon at "France", but more difficult to finish by one person. My DW and I always share one.

I am going to add this to the list of snacks I have never tried but should:

Doll Whips
Doll Floats
Shaved Ice in Japan
Anything from France
SCHOOL BREAD!!!

Wish they served something that good when I was in school haha. I do wonder where it got its name.
