SCALv2 or comparable....

My sweet DH just bought me a Cricut Expression for Christmas as a surprise. From the (little) research I've done so far, it seems like the SCALv2 was one of the better software cutting programs for the Cricut, but due to proprietary issues, it is no longer available at Craftedge.com.

Does anyone know if there is another way to obtain this software - or is there another software that works with Cricut???

Provo Craft sued the third party software manufacturers. The newest version does not work with the Cricut machines. Have you opened the Expression? There are other machines that work with SCAL (version 3.xx) and Make the Cut. You might want to return the Expression and get one of those. SVGCuts.com has some reviews of other machines on their site. I know PinballFamily has just gotten the Cameo, I'm (impatiently) waiting to hear what she thinks of it! Good luck!
