either scrapgoods at www.scrapgoods.com or club scrap at www.clubscrap.com

I would like to know if anyone belongs to either of these clubs. I really am leaning towards the scrapgoods club I like how you can also get a new tool every month but, I'm not sure if it either one of them is worth the $$.

Opinions please.

Hi Laura, I don't belong to either but I have heard and read good things about clubscrap. I have rec'd some items for swap made with their cardstock and it was of excellent quality!

I just joined clubscrap and I love it. The paper is excellent quality and depending I guess on which part you join you get some cute goodies. You have to be a little more on the creative side perhaps for some of the paper. I just got my august kit which is egypt, personally I love the papers and actually have pictures that will work with it... some people have hated it. (and the box it comes in is awesome for storage):D maggie

Wow, that would be a tough choice. I bought the Wedding Kit with club scrap and it is beautiful. YOu can purchase it without being a member. I really like the idea of learning a new technique with scrapgoods. I did notice the featured gadget and glue are extra in addition to the goods. Still a tough choice... Good Luck. Let us know which one you picked and whether you liked the product or not?

Here's a link to what I did with the wedding paper.

Tina - I love your wedding lay out.

Laura

I'm leaning towards going with scrapgoods - I like that you can purchase the tool with the package. I hope the quality is as good as club scrap.

I was in clubscrap for 6 months but I dropped out. The paper is extremely nice quality, and you do get a lot of stuff for your money. BUT, it is a very specific style, each month they choose a theme and all the items are heavily themed towards that.
I just found that the paper was too hard to use - Out of the 6 kits that I got, I have barely used any of it - I love to look at it, smell it stroke it, etc etc, but I find it really hard to use.

if you look here
ClubScrap previous kits then you can get an idea of what you get in each kit.
I know lots of people who rave about it, but just be sure it is something you will actually use.

I belong to Club Scrap and I love it. I also have Club Scrp Jr. Jr will have different items than the regular.

The egyptian kit is gorgeous...

My understanding is that you can buy scrapgoods by the item at the website...I think.

Okay, I still haven't joined one of these clubs but am looking at them again. I am really leaning towards www.scrapgoods.com - I think I like the looks of their previous kits more than the other.

I am thinking that if I join a club and get my fix of new items each month I can budget the set amount into the budget I'm going to prepare this weekend and I won't feel like I'm missing out from not going out shopping.

So, my question again is has anyone ever gotten anything from scrapgoods?

Thanks as always for your assistance.

both clubs look nice but I really don't know I would use much or if any. I don't know I kind of like to pick out what I am using. Not sure of your scrapping style but scrap in a snap also has a nice kit too. They have really beefed up what you rec.

She is also getting ready to open an online store... Can't wait she said she plans to get a lot of Disney stuff!

After three months, I just cancelled my membership with clubscrap. The paper is very nice quality, but I haven't been blown away with the prints. I just think that if I'm spending $36.00 a month (which includes shipping), I should be VERY happy with what I receive. I've thought about joining Kit'N Kaboodle. They focus on a different vendor each month and the cost is much less than some of the other clubs. Here is their link:

Laura,

I have looked at Scrap Goods as well and am thinking about joining but just haven't taken the plunge. (gotta figure out if it's really in the budget!)

I like that they provide a tool/template to go with the month's theme and you can choose to buy it or not. (They also offer you the change to buy different adhesives too.) I have looked at the previous pkgs and they look great!

FYI - I noticed (I think in the 2/04 CK) that Club Scrap is offering 2 different trial kits (patriotic & pastel) in addition to the Wedding Kit.

Club scrap for some reason doesn't really make me want to join but after looking at the Kit'N Kaboodle site I might try that for a bit which is a bit less expensive but, I really like the looks of Scrap Goods.

Laura,

I've been a member of Scrapgoods for a few months now and love it!! You get to learn a new technique each month and the papers are fantastic. The kits are a great value, and they just keep getting better and better. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I have done Magic Scraps (4 months then cancelled - only 8 1/2 X11 papers, new technique evermonth was kewl though!) and Club Scrap (am thinking about cancelling as I have not been thrilled with 2 out of 3 but I will see what this month offers first!

That Kit-n-kaboodle looks great -
I will have to bookmark that one ;) just in case!

Has anyone visited the Leaving Prints website? They have a program called "Out of the Box", that I belong to. Their products are fabulous. Of course, I'm a little biased, as I'm an Independent Instructor for Leaving Prints. Here is the link to their website http://www.leavingprints.com/

PS If you would like more info, please feel free to contact me by e-mail or PM. Also I'm Independent Instructor 1063

thanks Laura -
you got me in trouble AGAIN !

I COULD NOT RESIST!

I loved the old kits offered and joined Kit'nKaboodle
AAUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

But if I quit Club Scrap I will actually be saving money!

I just realized that I haen't even LOOKED through my December Club Scrap Box because it came in right before the holidays -
so I'm gonna go check it out! ;)

I joined knk in December and am totally disappointed. I will wait for the next two kits but if it don't get better, I'm oudda dere.
