Sounds like someone bought just for the incentives and now is selling off the contract.

I doubt its for the incentives. With the commission and fees, he's gotta be taking a big hit. Must be monetary issue.
I think the guy probably couldn't stay in his job due to a work related injury. Probably a fall which hurt his back. Work comp of course paid, but not 100% of his salary. He's already stretched thin because his wife wanted the house with the bigger yard . . . which he thought just meant more yardwork, but he gave in. Now with the bad back, his former skills in landscaping aren't helping him find a new job. Plus he's got all that yardwork to do. He often thinks of how nice it'd be watching fireworks from BLT, but then remembers all the walking he'd have to have done during the day, and his back reminds him how much that'd hurt. So having to sell off the DVC membership isn't so bad . . . for now. He hopes to buy in again, when he gets back on his feet, and he hopes BLT isn't sold out. But when he looks on the bright side, cause he's really an optimist, he thinks, well maybe I'll get a great deal on a resale by then. So, its not all bad.
Anyway, thats just my guess at why its up for sale. Who knows?
Could also be someone who bought @ DLR to get Founder's status, never really wanting BLT. Just waited to close on VGC to start the sale for BLT, then use proceeds from it to pay for VGC? Might even be able to deduct the loss on taxes...
I received a good discount on it too so hopefully I will break even...

Of all the theories, this seems the most plausible to me.
