Saw Lights, Motor, Action last week

The show lasts 30 min. Make sure you get a FP because those people go in first. I don't think it matters all that much where you sit. You'll see fine anywhere. And I agree, you definitely should experience it for yourself and see what you think. Have fun!

We saw it last Monday and, although it was OK, it has no repeat value to us. I seriously doubt we'll see it again.

I'm not really into cars, but I do want to experience it, if even just one time. Just wondering how long is the show? I'd like to know how much time to alot for it. Do you have to get there early to get a good seat or doesn't that matter in this show? :flower:

I am definitely not into cars, either but I really enjoyed it from the perspective of seeing how they do chase scenes in movies and other behind the scenes secrets. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would gladly do it again! :flower:

I'm not that keen on stunt shows. I've seen this show at Disneyland Paris and was disappointed to see that it was going to MGM. I think they could do with more shows like Hunchback which I really loved.

:moped: I haven't seen it yet but my guess is that most of those that have posted are of the female gender and therefore not prone to auto stunt shows. :moped: I will check it out when I go but since I do not know what to expect, I will leave the speculation for after I have seen it.

FYI I am a "girly girl" and absolutely loved this show! It was interesting to me! I learned a lot about stunts in movies, ect. On the other hand, my DH said once was enough. Neither of us are into cars, but I really did enjoy the show. I liked it better than Soarin'. princess:

Ditto!!!!!!! :-D This girly girl enjoyed it more than Soarin' as well. I liked the behind the scenes perspective of this very fun stunt show :moped:

Female....enjoyed it. Not a NASCAR fan, don't like car shows (other than the local ones that come once a year), but LMA was enjoyable.

I was told that the show gets changed a bit from time to time...don't know how accurate that is.

Our family of 6 dh(46), me(41), dd(14), ds(12), ds(11), and dd(8)...all love it...we saw it during the previews in March 3 times and this past trip saw it once...the boys saw it twice...

We enjoy all parts of it....

We just returned from the world and made a special point to see this show. As it is shown only in the afternoons, it is rained out rather frequently. We had to try a couple of times to see it. My two daughters and I enjoyed it, but agreed it was a "guy show". On the bus back to the resort, several men were still talking about gear ratios, transmissions, motor size etc.!

I would say definitely get a fast pass! Otherwise if you go early you stand under the stadium and feel like a broiled chicken. There is no air conditioning under there.

....the only thing we absolutely HATED was getting out of the show. It was just a stampede and seemed very dangerous to me. I was very glad we weren't seated up higher in the stands.

We were seated up pretty high in the stands (we showed up about 10 minutes before the show started) and didn't have any problem getting out. We just relaxed a bit more until it wasn't quite so crowded.

I did enjoy the questions on the big screen before the show began about stunt scenes in movies. It helped to pass the time.

I saw Lights, Motors, Action when I was there in May. I saw it with my whole family (my mom, dad, sister, and myself). We loved it! We wanted to go back and see it again so that we could tape it for my sister's boyfriend and my fiancee. As for getting out of the show, my family and I sat around and chatted until the theater was nearly empty and then left. The sitting around allowed us to decide want we wanted to do next.

FYI, it was drizzly day when we saw the show in early June. The 1 pm show was not cancelled though we were worried it would be. It had rained harder earlier. The people in the show who were out in the elements, just had on raincoats. The pavement was slick, I was afraid they would have to leave some stunts out but it looked like they did the complete show to me.

I really liked that they gave the behind the scenes secrets. Watching the stunts was great, but I especially liked the surprises about how things were done. It was also fun to see the instant replays of the stunts on the big screens.

I saw it in April when I was there during the soft opening and liked it. It was a bit repetative I agree. We also did not see the entire show as it is now. They did skip a few things but showed us on the huge screen what we would normally see. I would go see it again, but definatly not more then once during the trip.
