I know this has already been posted before, but I was wondering how everyone goes about saving for their trips to WDW. Thanks.

DH handles all the budget/bills, so he uses Quicken to "pay ourselves" at the first of each month (we do the same thing for other savings). That way, the money is earmarked for Disney and doesn't show up in our account, so we can't spend it!

I don't carry cash for anything. So, whenever I get cash for a gift, a refund, an expense reimbursement for work, etc., I put it into two envelopes in our home safe. One envelope holds bigger bills and the other one holds $1s for tipping.
Seems silly, I know, but it really adds up! I've saved over $200 over the past 3 months with my system and DH has saved for our entire trip with his system, so my money is truly Disney Dollars for shopping at the World!![]()
