Wow, your trip is soo coming up sooo soon! I am super happy for you guys! I hope your trip down goes smoothly, and your itinerary looks great! I love how you have rest days built in so you can enjoy some time to do what you want and without the pressure of having to cram everything into 1 day.

I can't believe how soon your trip is! Yup, I definitely recommended positioning yourself towards the end of the platform in front of one of the back cars. Getting there early is also key so you'll be the first ones to board.
Sounds like you have the perfect mix of relaxing and park fun!

Haha, yes! You guys are are full of so much stamina! But you do have the benefit of leaving and returning. Since we don't have park hoppers and we're not AS close, we don't want to waste any time. Plus, we only devote one day to a park whereas you'll hit the same park twice if you want. Haha, Howard and I want to do it your way for our Disneymoon!

It's such a change, but we're all set with the 5 of us now! Haha, we were able to downgrade our car from the minivan, so at least it'll save us money there even though we each have to pay a little bit more for the timeshare.

It's so crazy how it just came up on us! At the beginning of the planning, we wanted it to hurry up and get here already! Then we didn't plan as much as we did at the beginning, and now suddenly I feel like we're rushing to get through everything!

We definitely need to have rest days or we'll be too tired to enjoy anything. We're excited to just hang out together since we don't get to see each other that often due to being in different boroughs! We're thinking of swimming on one of the days too since the resort has a lazy river!

Haha, I know Howard will definitely have fun taking pics in AK since we'll be there by ourselves and taking it easy.

So far we have pretzel rods, granola bars, and dried mango. Haha, it doesn't seem like much, I know. Howard's stopping tomorrow to get me Pop Chips because I love 'em, but they're expensive, so this is going to be a treat! I'm also going to stop by Panera to get Bear Claws!

We will definitely take a ton of food pictures! Our group we're going with probably take pics too, so there'll be a variety of options when I'm doing the TR!

OoOoo ... I haven't seen the cover yet! EXCITING! I wonder what places Ridley Pearson is going to make creepy for me now! It's thrilling to go to AK because I've only been once in my life. On top of that, I couldn't really picture KK2 because I only saw it in pics! It's going to be so fun going to see the bats and the tigers! And if I see, DeVine, I'm going to think it's Charlene!

LOL! That's so funny! I'm so glad I could help you with Amtrak stuff! I hate to say it, but it's GUARANTEED that there's going to be a huge rush to get onto the train. Even in smaller stations with less people-- a lot of people are merciless! It's like the rush to get on the subway, but sometimes a bit worse. :-\ I grew up in the burbs, but work in the city now-- it was definitely a culture shock, going from taking the train into the city on random weekends to having to navigate it everyday! Do you think after you and Howard are married you'll think about moving away from the crowds of New York?

Yay! Thank you! Hope you come out of lurkdom more often when I eventually start that trip report. Haha, I say that even though I haven't finished my other TR for my April 2010 trip ... whoops!

LOL! That's so funny! I'm so glad I could help you with Amtrak stuff! I hate to say it, but it's GUARANTEED that there's going to be a huge rush to get onto the train. Even in smaller stations with less people-- a lot of people are merciless! I can imagine that it'll be worse than just the regular subway because everyone wants a good seat AND people will be carrying bags and luggage! At least on the subway, you can stand if you have to.

If we could, Howard and I would move to the country! We would actually like to live in Georgia and be much closer to Florida and have a calmer way of life! That'll never happen though. I think it's just something I'm going to have to deal with. My church is in the city, so we go every Sunday. When we have an event coming up like our annual coffeehouse, I have to go out more often, and OY, I can't stand it!

Ahhhh, I guess if it's crowded, I can take pics or video or something and write about it in the TR, haha.
