Saveology- has anyone used this site?

I found the site "saveology.com" through a couponing for disney site.
It recently had a special to buy a $25 Regal movie theater gift card for $15.
I use groupons and living social a lot, so I figured this was the same.

I ordered the gift card. Then I got an email with a "voucher" attachment. It said I had to active the voucher to get the gift card by calling a toll free number.

Now I'm getting suspicious! I call and get a guy who tries to get me to buy a $100 gift card to be used at local restaurants. It only costs $4.95. I keep telling him no thank you. He keeps pushing me. I tell him I suspect there are string attached. He denies it.

I finally finish the call without buying the $100 extra. But now I am concerned that this is a scam.

Anyone else ever deal with this site? And what was your experience?
They seem to offer all kinds of good deals. But I'm not sure now!

I've used Saveology once before when I saw a deal for a half price Subway gift card. It was a little confusing to redeem the voucher but I didn't have to call an 800 number it was done online and then I had to wait 4 weeks or so to get the card in the mail. I did get it so I didn't feel I was scammed. I would have been pissed if I was getting a hard sell when I was trying to get my deal.:confused3

thanks- I think it will take weeks for me to get the card in the mail. I am going to be reluctant to use them again. Hate the hard sell thing!

I bought an iTunes gift card ($12.50 for a $25) thru Saveology. The guy I spoke to was very pushy about trying to sell me that offer but I firmly told him I was not interested. I received the $25 gift card in the mail 5 days later (was told 5-7 day for delivery). It was such a good deal, it was worth the steps to redeem the voucher, I would buy from them again.

I did the Itunes deal too but luckily the woman I spoke to wasn't pushy at all. It was such a good deal, even if she was I'd do it again too!

OK, so this thing sounds legit, but a few hoops to get the prize.

But my next question is, what the heck are they trying to sell?

The guy kept telling me $4.95 for a $100 credit to local restaurants and stores. He gave me a website to check....which was linked to entertainment.com (you know, the entertainment books) but that website didn't say anything about HIS deal. So I'm not sure what his scam was. Anyone know what it is all about?

I think its a discount card or something that gives you discounts and deals at local places. It sounded like the thing that the middle school sells for its big fundraiser.
