Save the date cards

Hmm...sounds trickier than I was anticipating. Thank you anyway!

I thought snapfish.com had a feature where you can add text to any photo but it doesn't appear so unless I don't know where to look on the website. Any ideas everyone?

Picasa is a free photo editing software. It has an option to add text to an image and then upload it to many online photo stores from inside the software. For me it seemed easier then trying to do edits on the printers website.

Here are mine, sorry the photos are rather large:

I thought I read on the Disney Weddings website that they send out Save the Date cards for you... is this true? What do they look like? Is there a charge (snicker snicker...like anything is free with Disney) :rotfl2:

I don't have a picture, but if you are having a Wishes wedding they will send out a Save the Date for you for free.

I sent out my own because I wanted mine to be personalized, and I was worried that Disney's cards might confuse some. Thinking that maybe they should contact Disney about things rather then me. We also had a lot of family asking when the wedding was going to be, so we decided to go ahead and send out cards.

Wow! Y'all are speedy with your replies - guess you guys are also at work on a Friday not feeling like doing much!

As cheezy as it sounds, quite frankly, although it's cheap to make and not terribly expensive to mail, any bit of a budget cut will be nice. I plan to have a website on theknot.com or I think Disney gives you a site that I can be more specific. Since it's kind of a rush deal - due to an overseas job - I don't want to take too much time to get stuff out to people...I've already been kinda spreading the word anyway!

Eeyore's Trailfinder - Did you create these, or is this what Disney sends out? They are cute!

EeyoreT -- wow, impressive!

Thanks for the refers to picasa and photobucket.com.
I will try using those when my pics come in. :thumbsup2

I haven't gotten to that point in my life yet, but hopefully sometime in the near future, but I have been playing around with some designs since I love to plan wedding stuff and I have came up with a lot of ideas, but I don't know how to upload a picture onto my post, any help???

Use a site like photobucket.com and upload your picture onto that, then you copy the IMG code and paste it into a post. :):thumbsup2

Hi - sorry, I've been away all weekend!

I made the STDs myself - well, DF did his share as well :) - I have a sort of step-by-step in my PJ of how I put them together if you're curious. I think they turned out well, but they took forever to finish and put together and I just wanted them out of my sight! Our guests loved them though!
