Saturday Question 10/06

Coloring is a very relaxing past time. I have my own coloring book that I've had since I was in high school. No one but me has ever colored in it. My girls and I have several that I use as well. I usually end up buying new ones for them every couple of years. They are now 19 & 22.

Care Bears was another good cartoon. Can you tell I liked the happy, upbeat cartoons.

Hmm. Whatever shall I list?? I love Gummi Bears, Ducktales (woo-oo!), Smurfs, snorks, Thundercats (hoooooooooo!)...

I can't name just one thing :D

The only cartoons I watch now are Disney animated movies, but I do miss the Saturday morning cartoons from when I was little. I would get up at 6:30 (while my parents were still fast asleep) and make myself some cereal and start with some drawing show my local station had on and then sit there until about noon.

I had a Shirt-Tales coloring book - I remember that!

Wow! These are all great! :teeth: There were a couple mentioned that I don't know - like Jem, Higgletown and Totally Spies - but the rest bring back good memories of watching with the kids. :teeth: How could I have forgotten Shirt Tales?!?! That was a good one! ;)

Has anyone seen Time Warp Trio? DD likes that one and there's another one that's about American history called Liberty's Kids. She's always liked fact-based stuff, which is kind of funny because her favorite thing to read is fantasy.

This isn't a cartoon, but does anyone remember Beakman's World? That was too funny!! It was a science show, but totally goofy - not so serious as Bill Nye the Science Guy. DS will still sit & watch that if he sees it's on. :rotfl:
