What's your favorite cartoon? (I really mean yours - not just one that the kids watch & you don't run away from! LOL) Come on, 'fess up! ;) I know some of you still watch them. But if you really don't, you can name a favorite from your childhood.

I will be the brave on to confess that I still, occasionally, watch cartoons. I love watching the ridiculuous old Scooby-Doos and I can sometimes be found watching or listening to the new Disney channel cartoons while I scrapbook in my "room". And I used to like watching Recess with my dds, and they were teens when we watched.

How come the OP never tells their answer to the question until others weigh in :rolleyes1

Well, today the reason is that DH came home with the groceries & I had to go put them away, but I wanted to post this. LOL I've wondered the same thing though.

Anyway, my answer is Invader Zim - even though it's not on that often anymore. :( I'll even put it on when the kids aren't here. They've finally gotten me to pay attention to Avatar too.

We always loved Recess too! DD is 16 but will still watch it if it's on.

I was thinking of this question today because there are no real "good" cartoons on Saturday morning anymore. :( I loved the days of Gummi Bears & Bugs Bunny!! I was never much for Scooby Doo though. :confused3

My personal new favorite is Avatar. And those little shorts they are doing after the main episode, priceless. They are so funny.

I will also watch Finding Nemo, alone, by myself, just because I like it so much.

I totally agree about the "good" Saturday am cartoons! And I have very fond memories of watching Gummi Bears with my dds! I'll have to check out Avatar - I keep seeing it mentioned on these boards. Do you think this is why we like Disney so much - we're all kids at heart here?

The Flintstones!!!

Even though I've probably seen all of the episodes, I used to watch it after school, and I now I watch it on Cartoon Network. My DS6 will turn it on for me if he sees it's on.

I loved Muppet Babies, and I will still watch it if I find it on TV. :rolleyes1 I also love anything Winnie the Pooh. My other favorite to watch--especially on Saturdays if I'm cleaning or folding clothes is Higgleytown Heroes.

My favorite would be... Tom & Jerry... boy you can really just let lose w/ life and enjoy the antics of Tom trying to catch Jerry and Jerry being such a PITA! :)

My kids LOVE Tom & Jerry! My personal fav is the Jetsons! Love the Jetsons!

that is one of my sons favorite one. we watch it every morning!

mine has to be the pink panther!

I used to love the Jetsons & Smurfs (ROFL) when I was little....and as a mom, I love Arthur and Clifford. :thumbsup2

Now - Avatar. The kids were already in bed last night and I watched it alone. And Totally Spies, but I haven't seen it recently.

Then - Jem and Smurfs

Growing up, a Saturday just wasn't a Saturday without the Smurfs.

I don't watch many cartoons any more but I think my all time favorite has to be Gummi Bears. I loved that cartoon.

Ooh, I had forgotten about the Smurfs. I loved this one too. I see there were several others that liked the Gummi Bears as well.

well, must be a kid at heart-I still like to color, too. I think the cartoon I miss the most is the "Wuzzles". Nobody usually even knows what that was but it was so bright and colorful and cheerful and innocent-Not too many of those anymore. Gummi Bears and Smurfs and Jem and the Holograms were all good, too. My little (almost 23 years old) really likes Avatar and says I would love it so I'm going to check that out.

Good Question!

I color too!!! And the kids never ever touch my books. I have my own crayons too, and I rearrange the colors, lightest to darkest. No one touches those either, I hate them being messed up.

Oh what was the cartoon with the animals with different words on their t-shirts??? ARgh. I can't remember. I loved that one the most. I had coloring books, pictures etc everywhere! HAH!!!!! found it!!! Shirt - Tales!
