Anybody recommend this company? or used one similar to rent a sat nav?

Is it just 1 week?
Never heard of them but had a quick scan at the costs. For just a 1 week (8 days) rental they charge £15.50 +£6.95 delivery then you have to pay postage back Total will be about £30.
£100 Deposit and as far as I can see you are responsible if it goes missing and/or damage.

See this thread from earlier today, I would advise Ebay or as I did last month buy out there for about £45, if you don't want to keep it you will get your money back(probably a profit) by selling it on return.

I'm not sure if this is an option as we only just thought of it last night, but if you have your own sat nav over here, could you buy the florida download and take your own?

We are hoping that we can do that?

Yes you can but only if you get a good discount, depends on model but I just priced up a couple on Tomtom.com, one was £54.95 other £64.95. The £64.95 gave the same maps(with IQ routes) as the Tomtom at walmart I bought for £45-50.

Just took the plunge and bought a TOM TOM USA 125 off ebay for around £50 from an english couple who had just returned..

I will do the same i think when i return in September will owe me nothing...so if anybody looking for one later in the year contact me..

not looking for a profit!!

we have a tom tom that we downloaded a the whole of usa for 75, its brilliant, wouldnt be without it now.
