it's going on 6pm and I'm STILL at work... entering my 12th hour. Can't someone just hand me money so I can just not work for my vacations :confused3

Back to your regular scheduled thread....

Sounds like you need an anonymous benefactor! Or a sugar daddy...:rotfl:

Good morning folks.

We went to watch Kendall cheer last night for the football team. They lost 42 - 0. :sad2: Colin leans over to me and says "I know why you only watch Kendall because this team is terrible". It was the first game that he was able to go to because of his own baseball games.

So what's everyone up to today?

Wow. The team took a beating! Colin had it right, didn't he?

We tried to do some art in my youngest class yesterday (it was the first day that they were all there together for the whole day) and it was not too successful. Isn't it funny how one class can be soooooooo different from another? Last year's class loved art and wanted to make all kinds of things, and this year I am going to have to start with "this is a paintbrush, paint and paper - let's see what happens when they mix! "

Becca - Have you eaten that Mickey bar for me yet?

Shannon - Is life returning to normal at your house? You've had a rough end to your summer!

Good luck with the introduction to art! Like you needed ANOTHER set of challenges! :sad2: It is odd how some kids just aren't interested in art. That was my oldest, Reece. Couldn't get that child to color, draw, paint, play w/ playdough! Riley loves it though.

Hopefully things start to go a little better for the family. As soon as Riley and I get over this cold, all will be well. I love Autumn!

Good Morning Ladies

Tricia, sounds like our football team :cheer2:

Wilma, job hunt :rotfl2: We honesly had an ad in the news for an Office manager, must have own tools. :confused3 As an added bonus, you got to do maintenance on the building.
:woohoo:

Do I file first or drywall the bathroom

I think I'd choose drywall!

Off to my MIL's house to avail myself of her huge front-load washer. SOMEONE who shall remain nameless,( but who is cute and 4 yrs old) got orange cheetohs prints on my comforter...:rolleyes1

Good morning to all you sassy things!

Tricia has not finished her Christmas shopping or put a dent in it as of yet. She has however bought three gifts. :thumbsup2

Today I get to have the joyous experience of going to the Dentist. It's just for a cleaning

but that's one place I really don't like to go.

Tricia, how lucky for you. But you will come home looking like :teeth:

How's fall treating you Judi? High 80's here today.

Just how long is Becca's vacation anyway? It sure seems like she's been gone for quite a while now.

We hit 77 yesterday and the same forecasted for today:thumbsup2

The trees are just staring to change. Nice up here for the fall.:) That means no snow yet

Becca left last Thursday, I'm guessing she should be home any day now.

Sending Astro & Atlas out to find Julie & Angie.

oh and vote for me

Morning sassies!! I'm here, I just had my first steroid injection yesterday and felt a little icky so I wasn't online. I feel better today, but they told me it could take a week for it to fully take effect.

So, what's up in Sassy-ville? We're supposed to be 105 today! :scared1: I think someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that it's fall! Oh well, we can swim for a little longer.

Everybody excited for Survivor tomorrow night? I am!! And then Amazing Race on Sunday! Woo hoo!! :cool1:

Tricia~wow 42-0!! I guess there wasn't much for Kendall to cheer about, huh? ;)

Kimmy~where do you work? You need a new job!

Judi~I keep trying to send you some of this stupid heat and sunshine but it doesn't seem to be working.

Wilma~I watched a little of Top Design yesterday while I was convalescing-what is with that one female judge's hair?? It looks like she stuck her finger in a light socket! :teeth:

Shannon~didn't you know Cheetoh fingerprints are the height of decorating style right now? You are tres chic (or were before you destroyed that work of art!!).

Bonnie~where'd ya go?? Come back!!

Hi Heather~ Hope your grocery stores are getting their shelves stocked. Are you having any gas shortages?

Julie~did the volleyball team do you in? Where are you??

Julie~did the volleyball team do you in? Where are you??

Yes, I think they have. I took today off to catch up on my domestic work, but I was cold and laid in bed to watch Rachel Ray after taking the kid to school and fell asleep for 1.5 hours!!! Geez!!! This volleyball stuff is exhausting!!

Glad we don't have to send out search & rescue for Angie & Julie! (I hear Bonnie isn't very gentle).

Hope you're feeling better soon Angus! And you know what? I got the comforter home & realized the stupid cheetohs stain didn't come all the way out! I drove 55 miles each way to get to MIL's too! (THAT's how much I despise the laundromats in my town. They're flat-out skeevy)

Julie-- I hear ya on the laundry overload. Last week's trip put me waaaay behind schedule.:sad2:

I just got an email from QVC telling me there's only 91 days till Christmas. You think they want my business?

I didn't get one :confused3 But my e-mail is filling up daily :rotfl2:

Tis the season to spend money
