It's raining and I'm loving it. I had no plans anyway, I just wanna chill and recover from the first week back to school!

Brent has been sick with a BAD cough for like five weeks now, but the wanker will not go to the doctor! I think he has walking pneumonia, I really do!

I miss all you freaky hags! What are you doing this weekend? Wish we could all get together at Angus' house for a pool party!

Shannon - does your mom want to adopt another child in need of eyebrow help? I am rivaling the Wolf Man these days - I need to get them waxed but I just can't find the time! I am sure my student's parents are leaving the classroom each morning saying, "What's with that lady's eyebrows? Can she even see the children from underneath those things?"

We went to the UVA game this afternoon and I must say it was a bit pathetic. We should have beat U of Richmond easily but it took forever for us to score! This is going to be a long season.

Bonnie - Mr. FofP has had that coughing thing for a few weeks too. His is getting better, slowly. Why are men so DUMB about going to the doctor?

We go to Water Country for BamBam's birthday tomorrow - Hooray! He opted for no party, just take a friend to WC so that's what we are doing. Hanna moved on just in time.

Ok, I have a problem. I went and saw Mamma Mia again today! Took heather with me, she loves it too. Only this time it was the singalong version and the words to the songs would come up on the screen!! We sang loud and proud, hardly anyone else was singing though, so that sucked! I have the movie soundtrack CD so I knew the songs anyway,for the most part!

That movie rocks my world...it really makes me happy!

Bonnie I hadn't heard of a sing a long Mamma Mia showing. I would love that and would have sang along with you. That is definitely a feel good movie. I can't wait for the DVD to come out because I'm buying that one for sure.


We went to a Saints football party today. Saints beat the Bucks 24-20. It felt good to be with friends and family glued to the TV and not watching the weather channel for once.

Hey everyone!! DH and DS went to a tractor show and I was so happy to have a day at home...I did laundry, dishes, and chilled...

Mom gets meals on wheels, well they sent her an invoice for $50. $2.50 a meal. Don't need to pay it, unless you can afford it.

Kendall had a pair of red sparkly shoes she always wore when she played dress up. She loved them because they clicked on the wood floors. It's so easy to please the young ones.

Judi, I didn't even know meals on wheels sent bills. Seems like a guilt trip to me, unless they mentioned it before delievering the meals.

Becca, I was shocked. Everyone working the program volunteers. We hold fund raisers to cover the costs of items not donated. So, I'll be calling today, with Mom's blessing. She's kinda tired of brussel sprouts, mixed vegetables and a small baked potato anyway.

I feel sorry for those that have no family to help cook.

Its good to see you Tricia.........I am so glad you weathered the storm alright. It was breezy here but nothing bad and we never got much rain like they were predicting. I am still glued to the weather channel watching Ike though.

Bonnie~~ Kate and I went to see Mamma Mia and we loved it. Some of it was a little over her head but we loved all the songs. I want to buy the soundtrack too.

My mother in law came to town this weekend. It was not a fun week for me. Then she invited Scotts cousin to come over and Scott panicked about the house. It was clean but still a little cluttered.....you could tell that people lived here. So I spent all morning on Saturday picking EVERYTHING up. My house is now freakishly clean

Judi~ Glad to see your mom gained a little weight. I think the meals on wheels thing is a guilt trip, honestly....and it is a way to gather donations.
ETA~~ I just saw what you wrote about how they cover costs........I wonder why they want more money?

I totally overslept this morning. Dear, Sweet Atlas did not get up!!! At 7am, MrJulie reaches over and says "It's 7 o'clock!!" I look over and Atlas is still stretched out in his crate... That has never happened before!!!! Usually when I oversleep, he gets us up early and I go back to bed...

He was playing with catnip toys last night -- I wonder if that knocked him out?? Then he had the munchies this morning!! I have a pic I will have to post to the pie hole that captures this moment... check it out

Typical Monday morning chaos at work... It's funny, people think that since I am a librarian that I must be stress free...
