More rain today, same as yesterday. At least the kids aren't going to school in 90 degree weather.

Mom gained another 1.8 lbs.

Good Morning you sassy things. Oh and Judi I love the new name.

I just wanted to let you all know that we are safe and had no damage from the Hurricane this time around. We just got the power turned back on last night around 7:00. We cleaned out the fridge and freezer before we left so today I'll be trying to restock those.

I didn't read back so I hope all is well with all of you sassy things. I'll try to play catch up this afternoon. Thanks to everyone who said a little prayer for us because it worked. I can't say that for all of Louisiana because some people got hit real hard but thankfully we were spared this time.

Honestly, about the same Tricia. She hasn't felt good the last few days, so yesterday we just used the wheelchair.

We had our first volleyball game of the season last night. My JV girls won!!!!! I was ecstatic. They didn't play wonderfully, but they stuck with it and got the job done -- that's what counts.

Thank you all for the big welcome home and the prayers that were said for our area. I'm not even thinking about Ike possibly coming our way. I went to two grocery stores and fought the mad house. Walmart had anything you could want as long as it wasn't in the dairy or meat catagory. I think I've caught up with the laundry and now have some food in the fridge and freezer.

Judi I have my days so mixed up I didn't even realize it was Friday and time for another weekend.

My kids do go back to school on Monday and will probably not get the Mardi Gras holiday off this year due to the Hurricane days. We weren't going to Disney this year at that time anyway so it's all good.

I'll try to catch up with you sassy ladies later.

Well today starts fall baseball for Colin.

It should really be a different experience this time around because it's the first season with kid pitch instead of coach pitch. They say it's very slow and most games you don't play past the third inning because the time runs out. We'll see.

Hooray for rain, Sassies! We are getting our share of TS Hanna, and boy to we need it. Although, the football game this afternoon should be a bit soggy.

Tricia - I am so happy your home was okay! Did you at least enjoy some family time while evac'd?

Bonnie - glad to hear you are whipping your kids into shape! My class was MUCH better yesterday. We had to send one home at 10 because she just couldn't pull it together, but the rest did really well. I am feeling more hopeful! My 18-20 month class begins on Monday (they only come on Mondays) and that's their first day so we'll see how that goes. I've got some wild ones in there!

Becca - are you working today? Are the boys glad to be done with their first week? Are you packing yet?

Judi - Hooray for 1.8 pounds! Is Mom still scheduled to start chemo in the fall?
