Oh my heavens, I had to resurrect this thread from the depths of page 5! Where are you Sassies? Out enjoying real life? Oh, okay............

So, Champs are over and Barney is ensconced at camp. We unpacked him in about ten minutes and then he said, "okay, see ya later mom and dad!":rotfl: Nice to have a confident kid, right? He was so excited to be there! I hope he doesn't bounce off the cabin walls into the river in his excitement!

While Barney is away, I am to be assuming his pet sitting duties for neighborhood rabbit and two cats. However, I keep forgetting! Good thing they seem to be hearty animals.:guilty: BamBam and I are going to go over this morning and hang out with the rabbit for a while. That's the big excitement of the day - aren't you jealous?

Bonnie - do you miss the man? Has he bought you anything cool in NY?

Tricia - your vacation sounds great! I can't wait to go to the beach in two weeks. Where were you all?

Hi Angie, Judi, Heather, Sarah, Julie, Kimmy and Becca! Hope everyone has a great day!

Tricia, Welcome Home. What a beautiful family. In your absence Bonnie & I took care of Christmas in July.;)

Julie, nothing to report yet, but we did find the perfect Harley on our trip:thumbsup2 Mr. Judi just might be needin that real soon.

Toot, never can have to many frames.

Rise & Shine Sassies, this thread was on page 5. We've lost our Chatter's :sad1: and it appears this one isn't far behind:scared:

Good Morning Sassies!

Judi how was your weekend getaway?

Wilma we went to Gulf Shores, AL. It's just outside of Florida. I had rabbits as a kid. We had the lop eared kind.

Judi thanks for carrying on the Christmas in July for me. I actually turned QVC on while getting ready one morning and it was on. :yay:

Happy Monday Sassys! Camping was fun this weekend, we had a campfire with my dad, brother and his family, my sister and some of her family and my cousin. Lots of swimming in the lake and pool at my dads. My brother put one of those water trampolines in my dad's lake and the boys had a blast on it.

I also found out I'm going to be an aunt again. My brothers wife is expecting her 5th.:scared1: She had 2 kids before she married my brother and they have 2 together. Totally unexpected, their youngest is almost 7. I love babies though and as long as it's not me alls good.

Bonnie, I like those frames! What a great compliment to receive at the mall. You are hot stuff!

Wilma, glad Barney's going to enjoy camp! I think I may send the boys to a day camp at the local rock climbing place in a few weeks. They would love that.

Julie, glad Atlas stayed at the camper for the rest of the time.

Angie, the cactus loves the road runner and they have fast, spikey babies. Did you finish Eclipse yet?

Judi, how was the trip?

Ugh, I had a huge response typed out and it wouldn't post. I'll try again after I feed the babies!:confused3

It did post! This is weird!

Tricia, it looks like you had a lot of fun!

I forgot to mention that I saw Mamma Mia yesterday. LOVED IT! It's one of those feel good movies and I quite enjoyed the music even though I've never really been a big fan of ABBA.

Hey everyone GOOD MORNING!

Did everyone have a good weekend?

Im sorry, but I could not get any new pictures of the cottage my mom packed up the camera for the next show tomorrow, but I luck out I dont have to go intill friday. I just needed a little break from all the horsing around.

Hi wilma!! Yes, I kinda do miss the man, even though he can be a weinie. He called me from the Sephora in NYC and asked if he could pick me anything up. :yay: So he is bringing me some lip stain and a bottle of perfume! Great souvenir, eh?

How lucky that you get to rabbit sit! I love me some fluffery bunnies! does he let you hold him?

Hi Becca! Glad you had fun camping. Girl, you need to return PMs. Are you pulling the "return to sender" routine on me? *cue Elvis song* I miss you, hag! :flower3:

I forgot to mention that I saw Mama Mia yesterday. LOVED IT! It's one of those feel good movies and I quite enjoyed the music even though I've never really been a big fan of ABBA.

Shannon and I saw it yesterday too! We also took DD14. We LOVED it! I wanna see it again. I cried a LOT during that song where Meryl is helping her daughter get ready for the wedding. And I laughed a lot during the rest of it.

Hi Sarah! :wave2:

Weekend was :thumbsup2 On the way up, on the side of the I-75, sat a whole, unsmashed loaf of bread. At that moment, I am reminded of Angie's cheese slices. Ok, so I'm losing it:rotfl2: . I'm picturing cheese from the wicked babes, I've now got the bread and low and behold, here comes the road kill skunk.

The poor Judi family now know I'm nuts.:scared1: I'd like to blame it on the doctor having me too highly medicated, but nope, don't think I can use that one.:dance3:

Are you sure you wanna here about this trip, cause we weren't even there yet.:scared1:

Off to the ortho so he can check the fit of the girls' twin blocks. Hopefully it's a short appointment. I am super sleepy and could use a snooze. I told the girls they could have friends over at 1:00 and we'd go to the pool, so I gotta squeeze my snooze in before that!

Good morning sassies! It's Monday, but I'm hanging in there anyway.

I have my MRI today, but I don't meet with the orthopedic surgeon 'til the 14th, so I won't have any info 'til then. Whatever the results, I don't think it will be good news. Last time I went it wasn't bad enough for surgery. I don't want to have back surgery, but the alternative is going through these episodes every so often and that stinks, too.

Becca~glad you had fun camping! I haven't finished Eclipse yet. I'm having a hard time finding time to just sit down and read uninterrupted for longer than 30 minutes!! I'm about halfway.

Bonnie~Mamma Mia sounds like a must see! But I'll never get DH to see it, so I'll probably have to wait for the DVD. Take a nap for me, too!

Judi~so we are having roadkill and cheese sandwiches? YUMMY!! Your family is just now figuring out that you're nuts? We've known it all along! Of course, it takes one to know one! ;) Tell us more about your trip!

Wilma~are they the big floppy eared bunnies? Bunnies are just so cute! I'm sure Barney will have a fabuous time at camp! Is BamBam jealous that he didn't get to go? Heck-I'm jealous that I couldn't go!!

Tricia~have you started (or finished!!) your Christmas shopping yet? I KNOW you've got a list going. :teeth:

Julie~hope you've recovered from your big weekend and that DH did tons of pinstriping!

Hi Sarah! Are you living in the cabin during all the construction?

Tricia~have you started (or finished!!) your Christmas shopping yet? I KNOW you've got a list going. :teeth:

Actually I only have a list partially made. :guilty: No gifts bought just yet but usually I start in September once the kids are back in school and we have a good routine going again.

Yes Judi we want to hear all about your weekend trip. I'm so glad you got to get away. Did Cole have fun?

Bonnie I always envy you and your naps.

Well I just came back from Walmart and it looks like cooking will be the theme for me today. I bought all the ingredients to make lasagna, meat sauce and spaghetti and a pot roast. I'm going to cheat today and make the meat sauce and keep the leftovers for the lasagna. :thumbsup2 Smart thinking huh! All I'll have to do later in the week is the layering with the cheese.

Time for lunch. What's everyone having today? I think cerael is calling me right now. :confused3 Weird I know but I just love the stuff.

Angie good luck with the MRI. We'll be thinking about you.

Angie, I hope your MRI yields good news. Are you still in a lot of pain? BamBam is a bit jealous, but I think he also likes being the only child for a while. He may go to "mini camp" next year for 3 days - we'll see. He's really one who likes his people, so I don't know how he'd do sleeping away 2 nights.

Judi - I gave up eating Roadkill and cheese sandwiches for Lent. Six years ago. So, if I travel with you we will have to stop at Subway. Capice?

Tricia - I am incessantly jealous of your Christmas organizational skills. September used to be my gig, then I had kids. Who knew they could so easily throw off the whole system?

Bonnie - how was the pool? Did you get your nap? Sounds like you are making out well on DH's trip. Maybe him being alone is a good thing!;)

Becca - Congratulations, Auntie Becca! I always look at those 5 children parents with awe and respect. :worship: I could never do it!

Tonight is chinese take out night. Barney is not a Chinese food guy so when he's away we always take the opportunity to scarf it up. BamBam, mom and I are going to go to Busch Gardens tomorrow and lose 3 pounds of water weight in the sweltering heat. Anyone want to join?;)

Hey hags!

Just got home from Bed Bath & Beyond where I purchased a new bedding ensemble. I'm putting my mom and her Dh up in our bedroom, but my current bedspread was all tattered and torn. It needed to be done. So it's all put on my bed now and i think it looks very suave.

I have not had time for the pool or a nap and it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. :( Too much to do to get ready for my mom's visit. How could I have been an entire day behind? Only today I realized she was arriving tomorrow, until this morning I seriously thought I had one more day. what a procrastinator, huh? Oh well...hopefully she ain't too picky! Cause my house ain't gonna be as clean as I planned.

Hey Wilma! What's sup? My daughter is gonna be at Busch Gardens tomorrow too! You both suck! ;) Hope you have a wonderful time!

Well look at us :yay: We've almost filled a whole page today:banana:

congratulations-CptJacksBeachHouseR.jpg

Angie, how ya doing?

I wish I were going to Busch Gardens too. I haven't been since I was a kid.

Judi are you passing out the Rum tonight? I'll take a rum punch please. :teeth: Anything fruity with rum is delish. :thumbsup2

Happy Tuesday, freaky friends!

My mom arrives later today! The kids have not seen her in two years. And Brent is coming home today too. With my Sephora stuff. :teeth:

Tomorrow we are leaving for Pennsylvania Amish country. We are staying on a farm, driving around Amish Country and spending time in Hershey.

What are you ladies up to today?
