If I preorder a book does it arrive on the day it comes out? I have never preordered a book before I just always go out and buy it. But our Barnes and Noble is all the way over on the other side of town and thought it may be easier to preorder Breaking Dawn. I can't decide, since I want it right away.

Judi, where is the rum? Or the tequila?

Bonnie, are you excited to be seeing your mom? Have fun with the amish and remember to drive carefully. You don't want to pull a Becca with the horse and buggy.

Angie, how the back today? I hope they figure it out so you can be painfree soon.

Tricia, I started my Christmas lists yesterday and even have a gift purchased! I feel so ahead of the game right now at least.

Yep had Mom at ER yesterday. Aunt Flo came for a visit. Our doctor on Wednesday. She still wouldn't move back in, but I can get to her in 2 mins.

Good morning sassies!

I'm just returning from a trip to the Library and the Video Store. For some strange reason my kids have been wanting to rent all the old Disney movies. We used to have them all but not any longer. Right now they are watching Tarzan. I'm really enjoying the music.

Judi I didn't realize that Mom moved out. At least you live close by if you can get to her in two minutes. How has she feel feeling?

Bonnie enjoy your trip to the Amish Country. We went to Hershey World but not the amusement park just the chocolate tour thing with the huge gift shop and we ate at the restaurant. It was very Disney-esk with the big chocolate candy people walking around taking pictures with you.


Becca I'm with you on the riding of the roller costers. The bigger and faster the better. Wilma do you ride them?

Heather I hope Joey is doing OK since you've been MIA for the past couple of days. Check in please.

~~~Here is today's tid bit of nothingness. Every time I type restaurant I have to use spell check. For the life of me I always spell that darn word wrong.

Judi~I'm confused. Did your mom move out? I wish there was a way we could lighten your load a little.

Well, I had my MRI yesterday, but I won't know anything for awhile. I see the orthopedic surgeon on Aug. 14th. Is it orthopaedic or orthopedic?

Wilma~just remember how much weight you'll lose sweating at BG today!! Hope you have fun!!

Becca~when do the boys go back to school? We have some schools here starting next week! And your WDW trip is getting closer and closer-are you getting excited?

Bonnie~I bet the girls are so excited that grandma is coming!! I hope you guys have a wonderful visit! Watch out for those teenage Amish boys if they're doing their "wilding" thing!!

My brother took Mom to her house last Tuesday night. I wasn't doing things right, per him, and she didn't quite like tough love. Mom now says she thought my family needed a little time. My brother just wanted to complain and didn't want to take her. He left on Thursday. She canceled her Dr. appt., a friend moves in who can at least call 911. Mr. Judi gets my loony butt, outta dodge for the weekend. Hey we needed bread and meat to go with that cheese.

2nd or 3rd phone call yesterday, Mom is bleeding. Off to ER we go. Discussion on which house, back to hers after discharge. My brother is back, snoring on the couch when I left today. Yep, now running between both houses. At least he can call 911. He leaves again on Thursday.

Dr. appt. tomorrow, sorry Mom, no cancel. So we go from here. Her health is getting worse daily. I guess if it were me, I would want to see my house too.

If this makes no sense, consider the author and her mental state.

Judi I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your mom. I know you are doing your best. I'm glad you were able to get away for a little while though. Today I am sending out a box to your house addressed to your mom, something from the girls. But I put a little something smallish in there for you too, so make sure you open it, okay, hag?

Hi everyone! SOrry I have been MIA. Scott got me hooked on the Pirates of the Caribbean online game and we have been playing pirates for days!

Judi I am so sorry about your mom and all the stress you have right now. When my Grandma was sick, she had moments where she was downright mean to my mom and other moments when she was really worried about all of us. Sometimes being sick or suffering grief can make us react in strange ways, please just know that you are doing all you can to help her. Oy!! I have to stop because I am tearing up just thinking about all you are going through. If you need to talk we are here


JOey is doing better. He is getting up almost everynight and bursting into my room, causing grey hairs to pop out (I can feel them) and demanding something to drink. He hasn't had another episode since last Monday so that is good. The worry is starting to get to me though. I am petrified I am going to do the wrong thing and cause something irreversible to happen. When he has one of those lethargic episodes, it is SOOOOOO scary.


We all went to the summer movie today and Joey actually sat through the entire thing!! See!!! I knew something is wrong with him Today's movie was the Bee Movie.

Becca~ I think if you preorder a book you should get it the day it comes out....at least that has been my experience.



We had a pair of huge banana spiders at our house. One by the garage and one in the backyard. Joey was worried they were going to eat him.....as big as they were I was a little worried too I have pictures if anyone wants to see them......they are kind of interesting looking.

I know Becca wants to see the itsy bitsy spider, I do. He's some bananas for him.

This spider is almost as big as my hand but there was no way in h e double hockey sticks I was going to put my hand anywhere near it. Thank goodness for zoom lenses.

They haven't said what is wrong with him yet. We go back to the doctor on August 11th.....until then I just get to wonder.
