Good morning to all you sassy girls out there.

I'll be stranded without a car for the next couple of days. :worried: We are putting Mark's Durango in the shop this morning to have the brakes looked at so that means he takes my Armada to work. My plan is to tackle the laundry room today. We have a nice sized one and it tends to be a catch all when I don't know where to put things. I hope to have an organized, pretty, everything in it's place, cleaned up with room to spare room by lunch time today. :thumbsup2

Julie we are big Iced Tea drinkers around here. In the summer months (well really all the hot months which are like nine) I make it everyday. In the winter I'd say every other day. I just ordered Blackberry Syrup online to add to the tea. It's the kind they sell at Chili's and it's oh so yummy.

Happy Hump Day Hagaroonies. :teeth:

The kiddos are doing pretty good today. How's your mom today?

I am as caught up on my sleep as I can get. I never seem to get to bed early enough and I always have to get up earlier than I'd like:laughing:

The only job news I have is that Scott talked to one of the ladies (I don't know if it was 1 or 2) and he isn't completely qualified for the position he applied for. They have rotating positions and he hasn't worked every department. SHe said she was going to look and see if they had some other rotation he could do with the departments he is trained for. SO now we are back to waiting to hear back.:headache:

Hi Becca! Did you get a new cell phone yet?

Hair Cuts ladies?

 Tricia

Hi Tricia. I think we have hit the season of daily afternoon thunder showers over here in Texas..(or at least it seems like it)...How are things in your neck of the woods?

It actually hasn't rained in a few days over here. They are calling for some this afternoon though.

Hi Judi. What's up?

Good morning Tricia! I actually love it when I'm housebound, I get a lot done when I have no way to leave.:lmao:

Heather, I have an old cell phone now just until I can get a new pink razr. Its ancient, but I only have to deal with it for a few months so I'll live.

Judi, I don't think I want Capt. Jack to hack my hair either I think I would lose ears if he cuts hair with his sword.

Do you think Edward would cut my hair like this?

images

I seriously like that cut. I'm not particularly fond of the blue color though. Make it pink!

I really like that cut too. I don't care for the blue or the super bleach blonde colors though. But with your hair color it would look hot! Use reds need to stick together even if I'm a fakish red.;)

Judi knows Missy Red Hair (or was it pink hair?) and maybe she could give you some advise on all the colors she's tried.

Judi how is Cole's hair these days?

OK, Mom's med & fed.

Missy pink hair was her name:laughing: I've been blonde, pink and blue.
I WAS young once. Cole's hair is still not normal. You think it might have something to do with shampoo for and glaze for red heads.;)

Good morning hagarific somethings!! You all were chatty this morning.

Bonnie~I've thought about going to a beauty school to get my hair done, but I'm afeerd! Do they give you any guarantee you won't walk out bald or your hair won't fall out a week later?

Becca~I'm glad you love your new 'do! It just makes you feel happy to have pretty hair, doesn't it?

Wilma~you're initiation rites are hilarious! And your schedule exhausts me just reading about it. You need a vacation from summer vacation. Sholow and Sierra send a big slobbery woof to Linus. How was his acupuncture appt? Are you watching Next Food Network Star? They have some really lame contestants this season. I don't like any of them so far, and they don't seem like very good chefs/cooks.

Judi~you really need to post some pics-I wanna see your blue and pink hair! What has Cole been up to this summer so far?

Tricia~when you're done with your laundry room I have a pantry you can tackle. It stresses me out every time I open the door. Why is it so hard to keep your pantry organized?

Heather~good luck with Joey today. I HATE having blood drawn; I can only imagine how much Joey would enjoy it! I'll take some of your afternoon showers.

Julie~have fun at the motorcycle meet today. I bet Atlas will help your hubby's sales-nothing like a cute puppy to draw a crowd.

I think we're going to see Wall-E this weekend. I love Pixar, I just hope it's good.

Laundry room is done and looks quite nice if I say so myself. That's because I had two great helpers. Since I was on a roll I managed to do the pantry as well. We took every last thing out, threw away lots and put it all back nice and organized. :thumbsup2

I have one hall closet left but I'm saving that for another day.

Just back from seeing Mr. Magorium. We all agreed that it was kinda lame-ish, but better than nothing! Next week is Water Horse, a movie we own, but love! It'll be fun to see it on the big screen again. We already got our tickets.

I have an hour before I have to leave for my hair appt. Is anyone around for some chattin'?

oh, what...MINE ain't fakish red? :rotfl2: My natural color is dirty-dishwater blonde.

You know, some time you and I should bite the bullet and get that cut done (but with our own choice of non-blue hair color!)! We would be twinners! Maybe wait until after the Feb meet, so we won't be seen together with the same cut! :rotfl2: We would be totally sassy!

Yeah, I know what you're sayin'...it's a crap shoot. You could always go to that French place....what's it called? Le Super Cuts. ;) Of course, y'ain't gonna feel confident in a place that only charges $20 for a cut, either. I'm tellin' ya, you need to do what I did...find a nice hair cut place that has associates earning their training hours. They are super cheap. My lady is an associate, and it's gonna suck when she is finished with her hours and charges full price, cause I think I'm gonna have to keep going to her. She's the first lady here that I have found that I really like. And instead of $165 for a partial foil, and coloring the bottom half my head a solid color, and cutting, I only pay $65. Plus she throws in eyebrows and a clear coat for free. Not too shabby. If I got just a haircut it would be like $15 (from an assoc). You could do Ms. Clairol at home and get an inexpensive hair cut some place like that.

My kids wanna see Wall. E. too.

I can't have that haircut, it has bangs. I am anti bangs.:hippie:

BOCK!!

Actually I don't think I could pull it off either, it's a little young for me. I am looking for a cut with little spikes in the rear crown though. I am always on the lookout for more sass. :thumbsup2

I like that look too, but can't pull it off myself. My neighbor just got an inverted bob and it looks hot on her, but she didn't get it too short since she's easing into it. I always jump in with both feet, I figure its just hair! Unless it has bangs, I can't do those.

I had an inverted bob about six years ago. I enjoyed it! Funny how some haircuts never go out of style!

Yeah, I am willing to take risks with my hair too...it grows pretty fast. Especially my bangs. Unless I get a hideous cut, then the "It's just hair" philosophy goes to pot. :rotfl:

Maybe for Fall I will change my cut, if I can find a pic of the perfect one!

My riskiest decisions are with my color. I just looked at it again and its really bright red on some parts! I love it though. Maybe you should go goth today and shock everyone!

Hey, Sassies! I see I missed the lunch chat - foo. As for all of you complaining about the small number of chocolates involved in the initiation ceremony, here is what I say. It was almost going to be 3 sourballs, so take your three shmeasly truffles and be happy! Don't be a nebesch about the chocolates!;)

Angie- I am watching FNS, but I agree with you about the contestant quality. None of the food looks good! I am glad that Nipa is gone - she seemed really limited and stubborn. The guy falling on the floor of the ship on purpose is a dork. Or a nebesch, take your pick. Linus sends a slobbery one right back atcha!

All of this hair talk has me inspired. Maybe I shall color mine purple with white streaks. It would coordinate well with my cut-on-the-bias dress and fancy rock necklace. Or, perhaps I could scale it back a bit and just have my eyebrows waxed so that I am not mistaken for Bert by small children at the pool. You would think that the roundness of my head and peachy (as opposed to yellow) color would tip them off, but I suppose they are so swayed by the eyebrows that they can think of nothing else. Thanks, ladies, for the inspiration!

Get thee to the Pie Hole and start up an interesting thread! What else do you have to do?

Hi Bonnie, Becca, Tricia, Judi, Julie, Heather!
