Good morning ladies!! DH has an interview this afternoon-keep your fingers crossed. I think it would be a really good job and it's only like 10 minutes from home!!

If I ever visited NOLA I don't think I'd go for Mardi Gras. I just don't enjoy drunken idiots anymore!

We will be cranking up to about 109 today-ahhh summer...How come we have a sweating smilie on the pie hole, but not here??

Oh my goodness Angie! I think we need a melting smilie for that. Good luck to your dh, I hope its something he will like and think of the savings on gas. He could even get one of these to ride to work

Hey hags! i am kinda low-stress now and it feels GREAT! I have not begun report cards, but maybe I'll just do them at my leisure and send them out in the mail. It's a preschool, so not like I have a strict deadline or anything!


How are you hags? I feel like we have not chatted in a coon's age!

Friday is the last day of school for my girls and for me! We are all really looking forward to it!

Hey!! DH's interview went really well!! I'm PRAYING he gets this job!!! I think he would be really good at it and would really like it. He has to go back tomorrow and talk with someone else, so hopefully that will go well, too. We may not get to go to WDW in December, but I don't care-I just want him to get a job!!!!!

Good morning ladies! First day of summer vacation and my boys aren't even here. They went to grandma's to spend the night. I found the new Wii game they have been asking for so I get to play it first, that never happens! It looks really fun too, its called Boom Blox and there are 300 different levels, very cool.

Angie, I'm wishing your dh good luck with his next interview! I hope he gets it! Its a good thing you're planning to go to the hag meet then if you may not get to go in December.

Judi, how's mom? I haven't heard an update lately. And Brittany is moving back at the end of the month, she sounds a bit better.

Tricia, what new Wii games have you accumulated? We don't have a ton of games but the ones we do have are really fun!

Bonnie, almost done! I bet you can't wait for your summer hours to begin.

Heather, hows it going on your dh job search? Stryker is now trying to recruit Brian too. He even applied for the job now, after how much he complains about Stryker being non family friendly and now he applies! He's fickle.

Wilma, how's the summer treating you? We aren't setting up the pool at home this year, but I did get a slip n slide. Wow, those aren't as much fun as I remember it kinda hurts actually.

We are still waiting to hear from the job dh really wants to get. As a last resort he can take the travel position...they call almost daily. We are trying to keep him home though. We still have a couple of weeks before we are completely desperate......I am going to have to make sure I have a larger safety net so if this happens again we will have more time.

Judi~~ I don't know what to say except I will pray for ya'll. I hope your mom feels better soon.


Becca....I saw an ad for Boom Box and told dh I want it. Now I can tell him I know someone who actually has the game and loves it. My current favorite game is the Sonic and Mario Olympic games....although I am frustrated because I can't get Archery to unlock (you ahve to win so many circuits to get it to unlock). It will be a while before I can buy any new games I will have to live through you

Judi, I can't imagine what you are going through. Cole can still come, Britt will be too busy getting ready to start college and finding a job to be around as much as I would like.

Heather, we have that Mario Sonic Olympic game too. I can't do anything except the trampoline jumping. I rock at that! Good luck to Scott and hopefully it will all work out the way its supposed to.

hey Sassies! I left work at noon and Brent and I had lunch and then went to Caitlin's 5th grade graduation. It was nice, but kinda longish. I sniveled a lot.

Hi Wilma, report cards for my class are five pages long. Each page has a bunch of letter grades and a comments box. Its the comments box on each page that takes forever!

Hey there, Sassies! I can't seem to get it together today. Our meet ended late last night and I wasn't able to fall asleep until about midnight. Then, Barney and I were up at 5 for practice. I thought I would snooze poolside but I couldn't so here I am, dragging anchor. It will be an early evening for the FoP's tonight!

Becca - we buy one slip and slide a year (they always seem to rip by the end of the season). I did it last year and ended up bruising myself something silly so I am benched this year. I never remember getting bruised when I was a kid and did that! I remember it being a wild, frollicking time! I've said it once and I'll say it again - it sucks to age. Do you and Brian have a date in mind for your DC trip?

Angie and Heather - woohoo for the hubbies! I hope it all works out!

Judi - I was afraid that your mom wasn't faring well since you've been so quiet about her lately. Don't be afraid to tell us these things - we are here for you! I'm most concerned about the lack of eating/drinking - does she have a reason? If she's not eating well then it's hard to do anything else. What does the doc say?

Tricia - what's shakin' with the weight loss? Where is Kelsie's job? Does she like it?

Bonnie - that sounds like some killer report card, lady! No wonder you are pooped out!

All we have so far is Wii Sports that came with the game, something called Wii Play that came with one of the controllers and has nine games on it, Wii Carnival and Winter Sports (The Ultimate Challenge).

Tricia - what's shakin' with the weight loss? Where is Kelsie's job? Does she like it?

I weighed myself this morning and I'm down another 1.4 for this week. I am now doing WW on my own because the last two weeks I missed the meetings because of Kendall's cheerleading. I just cancelled my membership yesterday. I hope I can make it without the support of the meetings. If I can't I'll rejoin in August when the kids go back to school. I've been on the program for four months now so I feel pretty good about all they've taught me.

Wilma you need some sleep lady. Are you a day time napper? I'm not. I like it to be cold and dark for me to fall asleep.

Hooray for Friday! I'm looking forward to doing very little this weekend. Tricia, I am not a day time napper unless the kids are gone. They are pretty trustworthy, but I never really get good sleep if they are in the house and awake because I think part of my mind is always wondering what they are up to! You can do it. How's the ear this morning? Is Colin feeling any better

His ear is feeling better but now poor thing is all itchy (or at least he was yesterday). He got an allergic reaction to the antibiotic the Dr. gave him. It was a form of penicillin of which I am also allergic to. The Dr. called in another one for him to take which he will start today. I had to give him benadryl for the itch but he is still sleeping so I hope today will be a better day all around.
