Yesterday's cheap movie was Montser House.....Am I the only one who thinks that movie is a little intense for little kids? Joey and I didn't stay long. Luckily Mom was with us and she stayed with the girls

Well I am not sure about Tricia....I've always thought there was something a little off about her. Now that I read the NOLA thread I know I was right. How could anyone want to visit there, much less live there

DH has a lead for another job. Hopefully he will hear back in a few days. We are trying to keep him in town. Keep your fingers crossed.

I didn't read the whole thing. Maybe I should have? Beads Judi? I've got an attic full of those things. They are fun to catch during Mardi Gras but then what do you do with them? Throw them in the attic for years on end. Before Katrina I lived right outside New Orleans and visited often. Now I'm about an hour away and never go there anymore. Mark still works there but we never seem to leave the suburbs on the weekends.

Beads, red for valentine's day, green for St. Patrick's day etc. etc. My purple tree wears them well.

The Mardi Gras celebrations that we have in Galveston get pretty wild. We haven't been in years. And almost the only way to get beads is to be really lucky during the parade or to expose the girls What did you do to get your beads Tricia?

Every once in a while we'll head across the lake to NO but we know where the kid friendly places are and what areas you don't want the kids looking at other peoples ta ta's. All of the surrounding areas have parades of their own leading up to Mardi Gras Day.

I haven't started yet but believe it or not I started a list. When I think of something the kids say they want I write it down.

I've got to run now. Colin started complaining that his ear hurt last night. He hasn't had an ear infection since he was really little. He work up this morning saying he couldn't hear out of it and it really hurts. I want to call the Dr. as soon as they open to snag an early appt. Chat with you sassy things later.

Good morning ladies!! DH has an interview this afternoon-keep your fingers crossed. I think it would be a really good job and it's only like 10 minutes from home!!

If I ever visited NOLA I don't think I'd go for Mardi Gras. I just don't enjoy drunken idiots anymore!

We will be cranking up to about 109 today-ahhh summer...How come we have a sweating smilie on the pie hole, but not here??
