I've only been to Mexico-not even Canada! There are so many places I would love to see outside of the US. We even got out passports a few years ago just in case, but we still haven't used them. And with the current euro/pound/dollar exchange rate we won't be going to Europe any time soon.
I would love to go to Australia and New Zealand, also. My BIL just went on a 28 day cruise and land tour there-I was so jealous. It looks absolutely gorgeous! My DH's dream vacay would be to Egypt. He's fascinated with the ancient Egyptians.

That would be cool to go to Egypt. You know how I enjoy mummies ! Australia and New Zealand would be awesome too.

My DH has no yearnings for travel. He thinks there are plenty of cool places here in the US to visit and sees no need to travel outside the country.

How are your doggies doing, Angus? the girls went outside and Gretch is sniveling at the door, she wants to go too! I might let her escape and laugh while they run after her and catch her. Is that mean?

No-it's not mean! The girls and Princess Gretchen would probably love it!! She would just think it was a big game. My dogs spend the day laying on the cool tile and drooling. Dog drool is the bane of my existence right now. Nothing like walking barefoot through the house and slipping in some drool and almost breaking your leg!

Judi, I'm so sorry for what you are going through. Its hard to do it all, but don't let yourself get too run down. Easier said than done I'm sure. Remember we are here to listen.

I have been to Canada many many times, Mexico and the Bahamas. I would love to go to Egypt too, but with the turmoil in that region doubt I ever will. Brian's aunt went a long time ago and it sounds amazing! Europe doesn't really excite me, but I would love to go to more Caribbean countries.

The only places that really interest me in Canada are Banff and Vancouver. If we ever take an Alaskan cruise I want to leave out of Vancouver so I can go early and explore-it just looks so pretty! Plus they have a huge Asian population so I can indulge in some of their fantastic cuisine!

We lived not to far from the Windsor tunnel and Bridge. Cole's great grandparents lived in Chatham ON. Cole's nana is from England.
Lovely people my ex in-laws, not sure what happened to their son.

I wouldn't mind going to Austrailia. I think it would be fun to go to Scotland too. I am too afraid to fly to want to go overseas much.

We have talked about a trip to Hawaii too (still the U S , I know ) but the flying thing really gets me. I get motion sick for one thing and am scared for another

I would love to go to Australia, but never will because they have the most deadly snakes and spiders. Huge irrational fear of mine.

You could always take a cruise to Hawaii.

I am thinking about trying to talk Scott into a trip to San Antonio next year sometime. For some reason, I want to go to SeaWorld and Fiesta Texas. Some of it depends on whether we get caught up on bills and have other things paid off....and Joey will only be 5 next year. Scott might make us wait until the year after next to go anywhere.

Wooo! I had a big fat nap and it was lovely! Except I had a dream that Becca sat on her tuffet and along came a lobster who used its claws to hack up her hair like Edward Scissorhands and Becca poached him and ate him for breakfast with her curds and whey. Ok, not really.

Is anyone watching Dr. Phil today? This MIL is a totally irrational freak!

Ok, heather, you need a hobby! But you know what, I am starting to understand your plight. Now that I am only working three hours a day I am finding that I get bored a lot! Yes, I do a lot of stuff with the girls, but that stuff does not last all day long. I don't know how you do it, lady!

So you did not consume him with a puree of curds and whey? Apparently my dream was not entirely accurate. But then I never claimed to be Sylvia Brown, now did I?

Sorry the lobster did a poor cutting job and that your new hair looks like dookey. But you do like the color, do you not?

Ooo, good idea! You simply must read them. They sound weird but they are good. But Heather, if you plan on borrowing them from the library, be prepared for a long waiting list! I'd send you my copies, but they belong to DD14 and they are her favorite books ever and she would have my hide if they left the house!
