Just book a studio at SSR for 5 nights the end of Sept! I'm very excited! Going with our two DD's, 17 months and almost 8. Has anyone stayed there? Pro's? Con's I should brace for? :earboy2:

We rode out Hurricane Charlie in a studio at SSR. Very solid place. :earboy2:

We just stayed at SSR studio with my son and his wife, they loved the pull out bed and even when we left it out ther was plenty of room. We stayed at Congress park which would be a nice long walk with the baby, the springs would be good for the main pool , but congress park is a easy walk (IMO) to downtown Disney.

I loved the open feel to the place especially by the water's edge looking across to DTD. It really did feel like a relaxing place especially after the crowds during the day.

It felt very peaceful and quite when we went.

Hope you have a great time.

we went for a last minute trip this past july. We requested a studio close to the main pool, and while they say they cant guarantee a spot we got one. Request it please. It was so nice just being able to walk to main building area of resort. We had a very nice stay and our room overlooked a pond. :earboy2: Enjoy your stay!!!

We stayed in a studio at SSR during the first week of August. Our room was in the Congress Buildings and had a fantastic view of DTD. Congress has its own quiet pool and spa and is great. The walk to the main pool is about a 5 to 8 minute walk while the walk to DTD is about 10 to 12 minute walk. The Springs building are located across from the main pool, but if you are in the farthest part of the building away from the main pool you still have a 5 minute walk to the main pool. You can also use the internal bus system to get from Congress Park to the main pool and back again. Hope this helps.

The two of us stayed in a SSR studio last October, and while it was fine for us, I thought it was a bit inconvenient with the bathroom, closet, dressing area arrangement. We decided it would not work too well with more than 2 people. Since you will be 1 adult and one child plus a toddler, it should be fine.

We stayed in a studio last October. It was my husband and I, DD 12 & DS 9. My DD and I had the bed and husband and DS had the pull out, which they said was VERY comfortable. Because your kids are so young, I would request something close to the main building. I hope you enjoy it there. We did!!
