Does the SSR have the same bus services as all other Disney resorts? We received an email upgrading us to SSR if we change our reservation to Aug/Sept. We are not going to do that, but DH was wondering if it had all the same ammenities and services as all other resorts. Any info. would be helpful.

Yes it does. While true SSR is a DVC resort, it is not out of the loop for ANY of the resort services...Including bus service. SSR is ranked in a category of disney's VERY nice, if not deluxe resorts (especially because of the spa), I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to stay there. IMO, it's one of the nicest resorts on property and definitely worth the money.

We can't change the date of our ressie. Otherwise we were going to jump on it!!! I looked at SSR DVC when we were there last year, he just wasn't sure it was a part of the resort loop.

SSR is a DISNEY Vacation Club Resort. It has Deluxe accomodations, studios have private balconies & mini kitchen.Studios have free laundry serivce by the pools. 1,2 &3 bedrroms have full kitchens, washer/dryer, whirlpool spa tub in master suites and again private balconies. YES, SSR has the same bus service because it is a Disney Resort. It also has an internal bus system and a boat that runs to DTD, tho many chose to walk the short distance. A Major theme pool and leisure pools thru out the property. It has a resturant, and a bar and grill, in room delivery for groceries and a bar by the main pool.
It has a community hall where multiple activites occur daily, an arcade, carriage rides on property, and a full serice spa. It also has a state of the art fitness center. SSR has a golf course. As a DVC resort it also has MAgical Express to and from the airport.

So the answer would be yes,it has it 's own bus serivce to the parks because it is a Disney "Home away from Home" Resort. Hope this info is helpful.
