Saratoga and Disney Springs

Just got home from a 3 day stay at saratoga , a deluxe studio which we booked 12 days ago..

Check in was FUN Young man by the name DJ assisted us and we just had fun. He placed us in the grandstand, 3rd floor.

The room was wonderful! Yes a LITTLE wear and tear but overall it was clean and comfortable and we greatly enjoyed sitting on our balcony and sipping coffee in the mornings. Loved the pool and the atmosphere!

We ate at the Artist Palette once, I had greek salad and it was really good, hubby had the spicy Italian beef. Both meals were great.

Went over to Disney springs a couple of nights. place sure gets hopping with live bands and singers. Was alot of fun. We had the Poutine Fries over there YUMMY and we did lunch at D-Luxe Burger. WAY WAY too much food neither hubby or I finished our meal. Keep that in mind if you eat here. Alot of food.


Over all this was alot of fun and we had a great time!!

Sounds like a great time. We are staying there in October for the first time and really looking forward to all the new food offerings in Disney Springs. I didn't realize they had live performers there in the evening, we'll have to check it out!

Disney Springs has alot going on at night, come about 6 PM it really gets busy. Great shopping, great food IMO there is alot to see if you just take your time and enjoy.. Loved being able to just hop on the boat and go over there. Saratoga is HUGE , The Grandstand was pretty close to the Carriage house so that worked out for us. Food Wise we tried the Poutine which were really good. We did breakfast in our room (toasted bagels and cream cheese) .

They only give you ONE thing of coffee, so if you like your coffee, bring more. Or you can buy coffee pods in the marketplace for I think 1.70 that was for one pod makes an entire pot. We brought food and water and soda. We also brought our own beach towels. The small marketplace has bread, bagels, milk, cereal etc. The food is not grocery store cheap but more like a variety store price.

Saratoga is QUIET! We really did love it and I am sure you will have a great time!

Sounds like you had a great time! Quick question, we're going to stop at Publix to grab some stuff, do you know what kind of pods are used in the coffee machine?? One thing of coffee just isn't going to work lol

All DVC units should have a standard basket style Mr Coffee basket for normal grounds.
(There have been a few reports of studios having a smaller maker, but you can call housekeeping and get a full sized maker.

The room is supplied with a all-in-1 filter/grounds pod or pouch that can be used instead of a filter and grounds.
