Sarah & Bobby's 11-13-11 WP/GF--Completed--ALL PHOTO LINKS FIXED!

Hey! I know that I am super behind...but I love that sparkly comb that you have for your hair!! Where did you get it?
Also, I love evertyhing that you have done so far! I am sorry to hear about your mom and that I hope she gets better soon! I am also sorry that you cannot wear you high high heels :( But I am sure you will find something fabulous!! :)
Cannot wait to read more!

Well its about time for another update! I know I've been a little MIA lately but I figured its best to do a larger update and get it all done at once! Hmmm..whats happened lately? Not much! Today is Bobby's very last day of nursing school. He is DONE! He just needs to take the NCLEX next month to be certified and secure a job! I am so glad for him to be done, he deserves a break! (I just wish we could afford a small vacation to celebrate :sad2:) Oh well!

Since the last update I have been running around like a crazy woman trying to find small heeled shoes that work..unfortunately I havent. Im convinced that cute, small heels dont exist! Sooo I decided I was going to wear flats..I bought regular white ballet flats from Payless (7.49...yeah BOGO!!) and TONS of crystals..and here we are!!

I finally ironed on a transfer. I plan on tying a hot pink bow on one of the straps and getting some matching pajama pants to lounge around in while we are in WDW before the wedding. Im going to do lots more of these..I honestly was expecting it to be a lot harder than it was.

After playing with so many rhinestones I bought lots of crystals, some hot fix tape/paper and will be trying my hand at personalized bedazzling! It will be great! Im super excited about it!! Im gonna bejewel everything possible! Maybe some company shirts for us girls in the office, BM gifts, FG stuff, MOB/MOG stuff..you name it and it will be bejeweled! LOL

We booked our flights and got them on the cheap. YES!! Also we are thinking of booking a week in a 2bdrm villa at Bonnet Creek. We can stay there for 1/3 of Disney's cost..what do you guys think about that? Have you stayed there? How did you like it? Did it compare to WDW owned and operated hotels? From what I understand you can get a fireworks view and balcony, etc..they seem to be really nice but I just thought I'd ask you guys' opinion..we may end up booking there anyways. Just because its so cheap...a week in a 2 bedroom for $700 is pretty unbelievable! Right?

Okay I think thats it. Hope everyone is having a great week, Congrats to all my friends who got married and are getting married veerrrryy soon! Our 6 month is on Friday! YIPPEEE!!! :cool1:

Oohh I missed your veil update! That veil is GORGEOUS!!! I love the crystals :) :)

Also, your crystallized flats look great; I'm very impressed and proud! :)

I wish I could comment on Bonnet Creek--- I've never stayed there though! I've heard it's very pretty, and usually non-Disney hotels have much more "deluxe" service than Disney provides. (As in, you know, the Contemporary is GREAT but it's not the Four Seasons, ykwim?) Buttttt it's also still not "Disney"! So I just didn't help at all, did I???

Love the shoes!! You did a great job!! I need to start bedazzling everything!! Haha!
The flower girl dresses are so cute! And awesome price!!

So I could have sworn that I was already following your PJ! I think I started reading it once and didn't finish and then forgot, because the first half looked really familiar... :confused3 Anyway, I read the whole thing now and I love your plans! Your sparkly shoes are great - there are so many DIS brides that have talent with those crystals!

You mentioned that you were looking for things to fill the cosmetics bags. If you have a Michael's near you, they have a collection of spa items. It's not quite make up or stuff like that, but you might find something good. This week it's on sale and they're 60 cents each, but normally they're a dollar. I got a bunch of things for my BMs. You can find soaps, bath fizzes, eye masks, manicure kits, etc.

Oh wow...I LOVE your shoes! And I wish I was crafty, but I know I would even mess up the iron on transfers (I'd iron them off center or something!)

And your flower girl dresses are so cute!

Of course you still helped! I always talk through how I feel..pros and cons and while it may not seem logical to everyone it works for me. So no worries, I know where you were going and what you meant! :thumbsup2 Thanks about the shoes! Im so proud too! I need to finish the other one! Oh and I love the veil so much! I hope the veil gives as much of a statement as Im hoping for! :bride:

Thanks! The FG dresses kinda remind me of Tiana's wedding dress(from PatF, not AADresses)...I LOVE IT! And bedazzling is so much fun! Its cathartic and very nice when you need to just keep busy and your mind off of things!..you know how wedding stress can be. ;)

Thank you so much, thats so sweet! Its nice to know that people are interested and like what you've got planned and stuff, you know? Its flattering, so thanks again! :)

:worship::worship::worship: THANK YOU for the Michael's tip! I went and got all that stuff too and with a 20% off your entire purchase coupon!! So the stuff that was on sale for 60cents I got for 48cents!! YEEEAAAAHHH!! I am pretty stoked about that. My bargain shopping is really coming in handy lately! :cutie:

Thank you! Its so great to get shoes out of the way, Ive been stressing out about them forever! So glad you like them! :) I didnt even think about ironing off center..I'll have to watch that from now on!

OMG your shoes are uh-may-zing!! Totally adorable!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love them too! :lovestruc

WELL GIRLS...6 MONTHS FROM TODAY I WILL MARRY THE MAN OF MY DREAMS!

I cant wait! Ive been so busy I went through over half the day and FORGOT! :scared1: I am such a bad bride! :sad2: Anyways, not much newer news..I am going to finish my other shoe this weekend and hopefully start on my BMs flip flops...I dont know exactly how to spruce them up..I bought some plain black ones from Old Navy for $2 each..I was thinking of bedazzling them..!!!! :lovestruc But I dont know if everyone else wuold like that, if it would look tacky or what..I guess I could give it a shot first, right?

What do you girls think? How could I spruce up the straps on some plain flip flops? I am anticipating them changing into the flippy floppies at some point during the reception so I was thinking they could be a little more glamorous..:confused3

We are for sure staying at Bonnet Creek. We really cant pass up the price of it...its amazing. Heres a link to some photos of the 2 bedroom. HOWEVER, Bobby and I WILL be staying at the GF after our wedding, depending on our honeymoon situation...which brings me to the honeymoon situation: We may not be able to take one right away. Money isnt the issue, location isnt the issue, its our jobs. Bobby just graduated from nursing school and will be fresh in a new job and doesnt necessarily know if he CAN get the time off..and he is worried about rocking the boat asking for it. What do you guys think about this? Of course I really really really want to go right away but if its not in the cards, then its not in the cards. I mean we are spending serious $$$$$ for our wedding, I'd like to top it off right with at least a small vacation..I guess we will just have to see. So we willbe at the GF the night of and possibly a day or two after..depending on the honeymoon situation. AARRRGGHHH! I HATE uncertainties and things I cant control!! :sad2:

Anyways, I think thats it. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Yay for another week being over and sorry for a boring post with no pictures. I'll try to find a good one for the next post. :grouphug:

Congrats on six months!! My fiance was in a similar situation: we didn't even know if he would have a job by the wedding. However, he did get one, and he starts in July. I was really worried they wouldn't let him take time off for the honeymoon, but he was just really upfront about it. At the interview he told them the situation and that he would need the time off, so they would be aware of it. They gave him the job and told him they were giving him 5 vacation days for the year, so he could use them and then if he needed more he could take unpaid vacation days (I think there's a limit but it was plenty more than we needed). They were really flexible, and I've heard most jobs are pretty cool when it's for a wedding. Of course, there will always be exceptions, but I think most places will be willing to work with you!

We are waiting until after the first of the year to take our honeymoon. It's not ideal, but we can't take any more time off work. On the plus side, waiting until closer to spring will open up a lot more options for destinations :)

I sure hope so! Its nice to know that we arent the only ones who have hit this roadblock..its comforting...almost. If I wasnt such a control freak, type A, plan ahead kind of gal Im sure everything would be fine...its just something else Im freaking out about...I really really want it all to work out.

Thats true! And it gives more time to pay for it I guess..Im really trying to stay positive about everything..its hard. :headache:

whoa whoa whoa... i have a lot to catch up on!! first of all... your shoes look great! i would wear them every day after the wedding because they're SPARKLY!! luv luv luv them :lmao: i'm glad you got a great deal at bonnet creek! it's close and will save lots of $$ which will give you more to spend!! hopefully when bobby interviews he'll be able to tell them he's getting married and will need time. most places are pretty good about this--it's an understanding situation in most cases. i don't think it would prevent him from getting the job as long as he keeps an open mind and prepares for them to say yes or no. i'm also loving the flower girl dresses!! cute and great deal!! i'm totally into deals right now... can you tell?? lol, my bank account is looking quite sad after a 10 day vacation  well i'm going to catch up a bit more, then maybe i'll do a little update myself by the end of the day :wizard: hope everything is great!

I think we are going to postpone our actual honeymoon by about 6 months. We will be in Disney for the week, but had planned to go somewhere else by ourselves right after. It's something to look forward to after the wedding, and the weather will be nicer in most places in the spring too.

I'm sure that will work out nicely! I mean, you will be Disney after all, so it won't be like your wedding is one day and you're at home for the rest of it. And it will give you time to plan and save... and something to look forward to!

We are also not taking a honeymoon right away. We'll be taking at least five days off for the wedding so we really don't want to take a full two weeks off of work. Like others have said, we'll be in Disney for at least two days after the wedding so time to relax together. Our wedding is in September so we'll wait until December or even spring break next year to plan a trip. I spend a lot of time planning trips and don't want to be stressing over doing that while also doing wedding stuff. It then also gives us something to look forward to.

:cool1: Less than 6 months, girlfriend! :goodvibes

I hear ya about not taking a trip right after the wedding...Chris and I have decided to postpone our honeymoon for a few months too. Even though we'd love to escape for a while, November / the holiday season is too hard to plan anything, so we're thinking January would be perfect to take a vacation (Plus crowds are usually lower in beachy places then.)

Also, that's great about Bonnet Creek! The pictures look great--and if you are able to save even just a little bit of money...that helps!

Less than 6 months!!

Your shoes turned out amazingly! And I love the flower girl dresses, they will feel so special wearing them, and you got a great deal!
