I love the first pair of shoes, but I can definitely see how they might not be as comfortable. And I think comfort should come first on the wedding day!
Thanks! I know, comfort really should come first... but so few shoes are actually comfortable to me and I don't think uggs with my wedding dress in August would be the best idea

. Seriously though, I do think they will be better if I wear them around a little. Right now the fabric is a little stiff. I may bring them to a shoemaker and see if they can be stretched a little.
I really love the first pair of shoes! I'm a big fan of d'Orsay pumps...they're so romantic

I've never tried shoebuy.com before, I will have to now! I had the David's A-line crinoline and I think it worked nicely under my A-line dress. Does the hoop skirt make it hard to sit? That might be difficult for bride/groom pics when you want to do fun poses or something. The DB's one was really versatile and didn't give me any problems! I was climbing walls in my dress
My guests really enjoyed the tissue packs, so I totally recommend adding those to the DIY list
Thanks! Yes, I didn't even realize there was a name for it. They are so pretty in person too, just something with the pretty white satin. Shoebuy is great, they have so many coupon codes all the time, and returning things is so easy.
Ooh good to know the slip worked out. That's what I thought to, I tried sitting and it did seem to stick up, but maybe the dress would weigh it down?
Lol, you aren't supposed to enable me with the tissue packs! I really did love yours and I'm glad your guests liked them too...okay, I may need to add this to the list.
I KNOW! what is with this? it was 85 on my wedding day! ew. Just drink LOTS of water and have everyone carry mini fans to cool you down on the day. Don't worry about the weather, i'm sure it will be fine!
I love the new pair of shoes! your right they are more weddingish then the first. I think they are very elegant. Good luck on your first fitting! so exciting! take lots of pictures. I would say don't cancel out the hoop you already bought before you try it on with the dress. Mine was an A-line and I ended up with a pretty large hoop because it helped the dress to lay nice.
you sound like me! I had a million projects! just don't leave them til the last week like i did! haha its too crazy if you do that.
It's been so hot and gross here lately, it's even worse this week. Well in Disney I do have one of those misting fans with me at all times, I guess I will need to appoint a BM as my personal mister.
Hmmm, yours did look really nice, and it looks like when you were sitting it still looked normal. I think I'll bring both and then see when I have the dress on. My dress is pretty heavy so it might weigh it down enough. I thought the hoop would keep me a little cooler.
Lol, well the way I'm going it seems like it will be the last week.

Because really it seems like I like to think about projects but I never really want to do them, so I just keep procrastinating.
Cute shoes Sara. I say go for the shoes you like best. My shoe choices are bit out there, but I'm a bit out there so I'm definitely going for what I like best...and what's comfortable. I'm also going to buy a pair of comfy flip flops too. I'm sooo not a heel person. I love the sparkle of yours.
Thanks so much! I really love them. The ones you picked are so cute and different and what's important is that you like them. I'm really not a heel person either...I've been trying to find some white
crocs for later on during the reception
