Those stamps are SO cute, they turned out great. The bridal shower looked like a lot of fun and the details worked out nicely to give it the mad hatter theme. Very clever with the hamper though, I couldn't even tell. It looks like a wishing well to me! I love that you got the dyson...the vacuum of my dreams!

Thanks! I really am glad we got them after all, I think they really made the envelope. It was really fun! Lol, they said it took forever to put together. The dyson is so amazing! I used it just this week.

The stamps are so cute. I have almost the same thank you cards except with mickey and minnie for my shower. Your shower looked like so much fun! Love the eat me cakes. I am glad you got great gifts and at least there was no rain but I heard it was hot as hell here in NY that weekend. (i was actually in disney that weekend where it was also too hot!) 2 months to go

Thanks! I think I have those cards too, they are so cute. Those little cakes were so tasty! We're really lucky to have such generous family and friends, I can wait to put all my new gifts to use. It was soooo hot here, luckily we did get a little bit of a breeze, but I bet they thought let's have it in June so it's not so hot. Hope you had a great time at Disney! I know, it's so crazy, I can't believe it's so soon now.

Thanks so much. I think the cupcakes were tye-dye too, I never did get one, I was so full from eating all the other sweets. I thought it was so sweet of her and she even put our wedding date on the bottom. They're really cute.

Well today was not my day . I went to the fabric store to get material to recover our dining room chair cushions and when I was leaving I cut across a small patch of grass to get to my car. I suddenly felt a horrible sharp pain and looked down and noticed there were lots of bees and wasps in the grass. So I think I got stung by one. I've never been stung before and it hurt so much, but luckily no allergic reaction and the dr says it should get better in a few days. But I'm so disappointed since I just ordered a bunch of potential wedding shoes and I wanted to be able to try them on!

Anyway, back to the wedding updates , I finally managed to take some pictures of our guestbook. We pretty much went with the layout the Roots came up with. I only changed one of the fountain pics and added the pic of us on the beach.

Ouch!! Bee stings aren't fun. I've only been stung once before when I was little...on my nose if you can believe it!

Thank you so much! I love the work the Roots do and I can't wait for the wedding. I really liked that the colors are so similar in all the pictures with the white and red and green and it has a very Grand Floridian feel to me. We hadn't really planned it that way, but I'm glad it worked out. Thanks you, I love that picture too, we have an 8x10 hanging in the house and we're using a different picture, but with a similar background on our cd favors. But I love how you can see the resort in the background.

Thank you! The shoes came and I liked most of them but they were a 1/2 a size too big and my poor swollen foot couldn't fit in them the other day so I just had them on my left foot. I did order the right size now so hopefully in a few days I'll be able to see if any of them are comfortable enough.

Hi Claire, thanks for asking, I'm doing much better, almost completely healed. Thanks so much! I was really happy with the quality of paper and everything. We decided not to upgrade the cover to leather but I think I like the image wrap better.

Thanks so much! I really love it, it was part of our package, but if not I would have definitely done a blurb book or something. I loved the mickey vinylmation guestbook that you had, but we have too many people, so we would have needed a few of those.

Thank you girls for all the concern about the bee sting too. As it turns out, it wasn't a bee sting after all. On Wednesday after it happened I went to a walk-in clinic and the Dr took a look and said he thought it was an insect sting and to just make sure the redness didn't spread because that could be a sign of infection. That night it seemed to be getting better but it still hurt like crazy when I tried to walk. The next morning when I woke up the redness had spread down half my foot, so I was getting worried. I went to the Dr by me and he said it didn't look like an insect sting. It turned out there was still some tiny pieces in my foot. He said it looked like some type of thorn and I was having an allergic reaction to it so he prescribed some steriods. After that it was a million times better, I could pretty much walk fine and the swelling and redness now are almost gone. It's hard to believe all that trouble was caused by such a tiny little thing.

Lol, I know, only me! You know, I never even got a good look at it because I was terrified of seeing a bee body. I'm so afraid of bugs! Then when I did look it just sorta looked like dirt so I couldn't really tell what happened. My foot is all better today, so I hope the new shoes come soon, there were two pairs I really liked.

It was so crazy. And the next day I was like, am I making a big deal out of nothing? But even the Dr. said it was good that I came in and that it was spreading and needed to be taken care of. It was really amazing, as soon as he took those little pieces out and I took the medicine for a day it was pretty much all better. The last two days have pretty much been back to normal. Lol, now when I walk though I'm sure to look where I'm going, but I was a little horrified in the Target parking lot at all the wood chip debris lying around.

welcome back, and you definitely have a good excuse for having to catch up. Lol, yes you would definitely know, I can't believe how hot it's been this year already! If it's this hot here in June, I'm a little afraid of August in FL!

Well now that my foot isn't swollen anymore I can try on wedding shoes! I ordered the new sizes from Shoebuy and they came already. I have to say I love shoebuy. They have free shipping and returns so I always order a few pairs and just send back the ones I don't want. They also frequently have coupon codes out so I got 20% off all the shoes I ordered. They are also really quick to process the returns, I highly recommend them.

I found one pair that I loved and were reasonably comfortable. I definitely need to break them in a little so that they stretch out a bit but I think they are so pretty.

I love peep toe shoes but can't really wear them because they always hurt my feet. These were nice because they had the same sort of feel, but the opening is a little wider. And the jewel is so sparkly!

I realized they sorta resemble the shoes I had planned to wear originally. The jewel is very similar. These ones are a lot more comfortable so I figure I can always change into them if I want to, but they weren't as "bridal" to me.

I have my first fitting next Tuesday so I can see how the shoes are with the dress. I still need to get a slip. I ordered a hoop skirt but it's a little weird... so I may go to David's and just buy an A-line slip. I also think the hoop might be too full even though it's an A-line hoop.

I also ordered the tank tops for the girls. NY&Co was having a great sale on tanks, they were only $5.99 each and they are thick and fit nicely. Now I have to make the rhinestone transfers.

I keep thinking of new projects for myself, like Tears of Joy packets and DIY "mercury" glass votives... but I have to remind myself to finish the projects I've already committed to. Can't believe I have less than two months to finish all this stuff!

I really love the first pair of shoes! I'm a big fan of d'Orsay pumps...they're so romantic I've never tried shoebuy.com before, I will have to now! I had the David's A-line crinoline and I think it worked nicely under my A-line dress. Does the hoop skirt make it hard to sit? That might be difficult for bride/groom pics when you want to do fun poses or something. The DB's one was really versatile and didn't give me any problems! I was climbing walls in my dress

My guests really enjoyed the tissue packs, so I totally recommend adding those to the DIY list

Hmmm, yours did look really nice, and it looks like when you were sitting it still looked normal. I think I'll bring both and then see when I have the dress on. My dress is pretty heavy so it might weigh it down enough. I thought the hoop would keep me a little cooler.
