I'm saying i like them but they would put out a cd and people would probably forget them. You not only have to think of Idol as a singing factor but as a buisness factor. Mltimedia nine and Clive Davis is going to this about hows going to get them the most money. Thats why they signed Chris Daughtry. Hes getting a ton of money from his CD, while Taylor Hicks isn't.
And Blake isn't singing pop music. Hes alternative. I didn't mean this to turn in to an argument but I was just stating my opinion.

No that was what you were meaning. Just because they're different nobody would buy the CD. AI wasn't made as a show to see who the best normal 2007 singer is. Melinda and LaKisha are both powerful, soulful singers. One of them should win.

Okay like I said, Sanjaya is sending all the good singers home. Just like somebody sent home Chris Daughty last year, it was horrible.

And Blake is far from singing alternative music, you obviously don't know what it is. He said it himself that he wants to be a 2007 singer, which includes pop.

People have different oppinions. You could buy their CDs, and I wouldn't mid. If you like them, that's fine and I respect that.

He's from the same city I am and I know people who go to the same school he went to, which is pretty cool. Other than that...I think he should probably have gone home awhile ago. I think he has potential to be a better singer, but I don't think he realizes it. As in he doesn't let it all out...or something. I just get the vibe that he could do much better. None of the guys stick out to me this season, really.

I feel that yes he could sing better. But he doesn't let any emotion out. He doesn't have soul in his singing. Like Melinda and Lakisha and like Jordan do. I feel he's keeping something in. Aand half the freaking time I can't even hear what he's singing, even with the volume turned up.

It's not his fault that people would vote for him, and it's naive to the point of stupidity to think anyone would ever 'step down.' It's up to the country, and if the USA wants Sanjaya, it will be Sanjaya.

I completely agree with you. I also think it's silly how people think the judges send the final contestants home. It's America who is voting. If those voting don't have an ear for great talent, than that is too bad. I know I have seen some people go home who haven't deserved it, but it has nothing to do with the contestants or the judges. Us public Americans are the ones keeping them in and letting them go.
