Sanford to BWV?

We are flying into Sanford in 2 weeks for our WDW trip. We were wondering the easiest way to get the the BW is from the Sanford airport? We will be renting a car. Thanks!!! We have been to WDW 20 times, so we know our way around. We just want the quickest and easiest way to get to the World. We have never flown into Sanford just MCO.

We just flew into Sanford on Monday. We took 417 to WDW. Several tolls ranging from $.50 to $2.00, but a quick and easy trip. We landed at 2:00, got luggage, picked up our rental car, drove, stopped at the grocery store, and were in the room by 4:15. It took us quite a while to get the luggage, my only complaint about the airport!

I don't remember the exit number off of 417, but you'll do fine if you just follow the signs.

Another vote for 417. For us, it's consistently been the quickest, hassle-free option. The total amount of the tolls comes to about $5, if I recall correctly. So be sure to have lots of quarters and dollar bills at hand!

We did this exact trip last June. Agree with previous posters -- 417 right to exit 6 is how we went. That allowed us a grocery stop before going onto the property. The drive is quiet and unless you knew how close Orlando was, you'd never know you were in a major metro area.

Luggage DOES take a bit. They must have one crew servicing all the gates. We stop for a bathroom break and one of us goes to get the rental car while the others wait for the bags.

FYI: If you're renting from Alamo/National, their offices are in their own building across from the main terminal. I stood around like an idiot at the rental counters trying to find them.
