Sanford Question

OK... I may have made a big mistake. Found great fares to FL in Sept on Allegiant so decided to surprise my 21 and 23 year old DD's with a quick weekend trip to WDW for Night of Joy. We had some spare DVC points and I was able to get them a studio at AKV....so far so good. I know Allegiant flies into Sanford and not MCO but no problem....I will just get them a rental car for the weekend...but I forgot that since they are both under 25 rental can be a problem or has hefty fees attached.

They do not really need a car except to get to and from the airport....so I am open to any and all suggestions for the cheapest way to get them from SFB to WDW (and back) as cheaply as possible. So far everything I have come up with is going to be more than their air fare down there and back! HELP...please!

Super Shuttle has an approx. $85. plus tip each way for the two of them. Super Shuttle is a nationwide name so I would expect all their franchisees and licensees to uphold high standards.

I would not use either of the companies with names like "Sanford Transportation". They have given some customers extremely bad experiences (like no-show and keeping the money) and since then I haven't seen any favorable reports on these boards including a satisfactory resolution of said bad experiences.

Two young folks look like an easy target for a shyster.

Thanks for the Sanford Transportation tip. I did a search on this board after I read your reply and saw the threads....looks like bad news all the way around. We sure won't be using them. I will check out Super Shuttle. I have used them in Chicago on several occasions without any problem.

Does anyone know which rental companies have the lowest underage driver fees?
