Sanford Airport - Realistic Drive Time & Best Route

We fly into Sanford on a Thursday @ 1:00PM. Return flight is also on a Thursday leaving at 2:15PM. Getting a rental from Enterprise which is suppose to be right at the terminal. I don't want to assume anything.

I would think traffic would be minimal at those times but like to know what others think.

What's the best route to Coronado Springs Resort and how long should it take to get there?

On the return what time should we plan to leave WDW to get back to Sanford and return car in plenty of time for departure?

I love that tool, but it doesn't give an estimate on how long each journey will take. How can we find out approximate driving times using those routes?

MCO is about a 30 minute drive and Sanford is about double.

You take 417 down to Disney area, drive time is 45 minutes to an hour. Very easy drive. Tolls will cost about $5.00 one way.

I did the drive a few days ago on 417. the Central Florida Greeneway. There are 5 toll plazas costing $6.00. It takes 45-50 minutes.
Msn directions and Rand Mcnally showed 417 to 428 to 4 but this way had virtually no traffic.

Yep, just drove it down on Friday afternoon and back to Sanford on Monday morning. Google and Mapquest both routed me onto I-4, but DISers and Alamo guy said to stay on 417. Very easy drive, just under an hour (we did make a Target stop on the way down for water and snacks), and totally worth the cost of tolls. Allears said to get off at exit 3 for CSR - I got off at 6 because someone posted here about Osceala Parkway construction. Easy, easy!
