Sanaa Menu

After seeing the menu, I canceled and switched to WCC. Not my cup of tea.

It's looks pretty good. The curries and tandoori dishes sound good. I'm so excited that they offer pickles! The steak and ribs are a bit ridiculous, but I guess they have to cater to the non-adventurous as well. I wish they would expand the actual Indian selections a bit. We're excited to try it!

The breads and accompaniments sound great, I just hope they taste relatively authentic. We're also looking forward to trying the mango lassi, and hoping it's made well.

thanks for the link, yum is all I have to say, my whole family including kids love Indian, so this perfect, does anyone know if there is kids menu as of yet, my girls 5 & 7 would love anything ont hat regular menu, but usually restaurants have the kiddie menu, hopefully they will have Indian food on there too, girls will share with mommy if not.:cloud9:

Thanks for posting this! I'm really looking forward to checking out this restaurant and the new wing of AKL.

I agree that it would be nice if they would include more adventurous choices, but it's still pretty cool to have an Indian-themed restaurant on site.

We are eating there when we are there in June. I hope it is good. I'd also be interested to see the children's menu. Any word on desserts? I didn't see them, but may have missed them.

We will be spending 4 nights at AKV in October and I had wondered if I should give Sanaa a go. Having seen the menu, this is not really us at all. So we stick to Boma and give Jiko a go.

We are going to try this when we book our Adrs for July.

I'm slighty disapointed that they dont offer the tradition types of curry - rogan josh, dupiza, madras korma etc

Very surprised at the ribs / steak

However pleased they have tandori dishes.

It will be interesting to try;)

:confused3 I am very surprised that people are concerned that ribs & beef no longer mean "traditional Indian food"! Not all Indians are Muslim & Hindu! There are millions of Christian or non-denominational that eat LOTS of beef & pork! My husband is Indian & has grown up on curry beef with chickpeas (very traditional dish) along with roti wrapped pork & yes, shudder, shudder, even short ribs!

We will be giving Saana a try in September & though we will probably all be eating something with some spice involved, we certainly will care less if the person beside us orders a burger!
