Hi:
Hope you love San Juan and enjoy your visit. There are so many things to do here that you just have to decide what you want to do. If you are a big spender, you can go shopping in Old San Juan or Condado(Cartier and Louis Vuitton), if you want to go to a Shopping Center go to Plaza las Americas in Hato Rey(Macys, Sears, Pennys, Godiva,Borders,Coach,etc). If you just want to go to a nice beach, you can go to any of the hotels in the Condado area or the Caribe Hilton or Isla Verde. You can also go to El Yunque, the biggest rainforest in any US territory, or to the Bacardi Plant in Cataño. If anyone left something at home this is the place to get it, there is a Walgreens drug store in Old San Juan if you need any prescriptions filled, and there is a good chance that your insurance will be accepted. If you want to buy and spend good money in something during your trip, Puerto Rico is the best place to get a nice piece of art. There are so many good painters here, that we consider ourselves blessed, so try to go to any art gallery,you wont be dissappointed. If you just want to relax, walk thru Old San Juan, is beautifull and try some of our cooking. Most people here are bilinguals and will try to help you
