san francisco help needed

please can someone help me?
we are travelling from the u.k,on the 20th oct.it will be me,my husband & 8 year old grandaughter.
you know what children are like,high school musical 3,gets released,while we are there,& we just have to go & see it
so my question is,is there a cinema,near fishermans wharf,as this is where we are staying,& if not where is the nearest one?
i know,you don't go on holiday,to sit in the cinema,but she has waited all year for this & as long as she is happy,so am i

On this map location H looks to be the best as it is nearly off the cable car route along California Street. Maybe you could combine a trip to the cinema with going on the cable car?

Although D is the AMC and that is a nationwide chain so more likely to be showing the film.

It has been running in SF for years. (make that decades). The SUnday matinee is G rated and kids are allowed - and if your grandaughter likes musicals, it is perfect. The theater is in the North Beach area, very close to Fishermans Wharf.

BTW, if you take the cable car that is near Ghiardelli Square and take it all the way to the end of Powell Street, across the street is SF City Center. It is a major shopping venue but has a nice theater inside as well. If for some reason is not playing there, "The Metreon" is an entertainment center on the block behind, and has an AMC theatre as well.

By the way http://www.citypass.com/city/sanfrancisco.html gives you alot of attractions and unlimity Muni/Cable cars.
