Any experiences with the weather during early December? Snow? Nice?

Normally, early December is cool, but not too cold. The mornings and evenings will be cool to cold, though, so you should dress in layers and have a jacket. We typically get rain by the second week (it usually rains one week in December, but that changes from year to year). Days are typically sunny, around mid-60s to 70s.

I have visited SD that time of year and concur with everything that Mary Jo said. SD has the best weather in the country.

Snow? In San Diego?

Yeah, that one made me LOL.

OP, it will be in the 60s-70's and sunny during the day. It might rain here and there. Nights will be in the 50s. Not a chance of snow.
