Well, you can take my spot.Just a short, 8ish hour drive for us. More than happy to make the trip!
Cruise lines need to do a test cruise before they are approved by the CDC for revenue cruises. Each vessel needs to do one from each domestic port that they sail from. Passengers on these cruises do not pay for the cruise. DCL has been doing these with Disney cast members as passengers. What is a simulated cruise?
Nah, DCL has no power to do a stern talking to here. What are they going to do, homeport somewhere else?Yeah, I was surprised to see it (and wouldn't be surprised to see that info disappear when they get a stern talking to from DCL.)
On B2B you need to complete Safe Passage registration for both cruises. You will need to provide VAX records for all passengers 12+. Since you mentioned that you are doing EBPC, and that is fully vaxxed 12+ only, I assume your party is all 12+ and fully vaxxed. Therefore you will not need to upload a negative test result to Safe Passage. Just your VAX records. You will need to test at port at the start of each cruise.I tried to search the threads but I didn’t have any luck in getting the answers. I am hoping to call Disney but waiting for lines to calm down a bit.
We are supposed to be in the HOTHS cruise departing on Oct 31st and the EBPC cruise departing on Nov 5th. Since the 1st cruise was shortened from a 5N to a 4N, I was wondering if after the announcements last week, do you happen to know if we need to do another round of test/upload of negative test results before we can board for the EBPC cruise? Or will we only be doing the mandatory test at the port on Nov 5th for the EBPC cruise?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thank you for the response, JWelch62. It’s the one day gap that kinda threw me off on the requirements. I forgot to add that we are flying in from Canada. We are fully vaxxed but will also need the PCR test to fly out.On B2B you need to complete Safe Passage registration for both cruises. You will need to provide VAX records for all passengers 12+. Decided to book a room at the Wyndham the night before our cruise. Will be able to walk over to the pier around 11:00. Also, you can reserve long term parking for good rates at the hotel (www.sandiegocruiseshipparking.com). Can't wait!
You should look into the newly added 3N on 10/5. We're going to try to go B2B, if we can get the same room. I don't think it will be a problem, I really don't think that cruise will be very popular. It's mid-week (T-F) during school.YES! Booking the parking this way is WAY cheaper than paying the hotel's nightly rate! ...And this reminds me I need to cancel parking for our canceled 2-night...

I spoke to concierge today and they said it should show up by tomorrow. If not today. Mine has still not showed up.We had the 7 day cruise on Oct 1 that we already did check in for. It was supposed to be converted to the 4 day. It was through Costco. We submitted the form from costco to do the 4 day. Our 4 day cruise still not showing up on dcl reservations. When can I expect it to show up on our reservations? Do we have to do the check in again? thanks
