Have today made our ADR's for August - as we are staying for 12 nights still have to ring back and book my last 2. We will be on the Dining Plan and are trying new experiences. Have booked San Angel - never been but DH's favorite is Marrakesh, where we have been once before and I wondered whether to switch. I know the 'Royal Feast' is a great deal on the DDP (even though there is too much food!) - anyone tried this and if it was you, would you switch?

I've had the royal feast and it is great. I would switch. Don't get me wrong,San Angel was good, but I liked Marrakesh much better.

This is encouraging because as I have been to San Angel before and really enjoyed it but we are going to Marrakesh this year and we have been slightly nervous about it.

Marrakesh... I don't know I figure it is difficult to get an expierance like this. I can get a rather authentic mexican meal outside Disneyy but it isn't often you can find a good Morrocan place with entertainment (at least where I am from) I plan to do it again this trip too. Actually my mom who is considering coming actually requested we do this again.

Marrakesh was great. Even for us pickey eaters. San Angel Inn is up there as one of the worst places to eat anywhere, not just at WDW.

:)
Another Vote for Marrakesh. Marrakesh is the MUST do restaurant, for me, every time we go.....

I may do San Angel again in a couple of years, but only because I thought the atmosphere was neat, not so much the meal.

We are from Texas so we did not like San Angel inn. We have Mexican food everywhere. The service was not that great either.

We (me, DW, DS 16, and DD 11) did both for the first time this past trip(Aug.). We did not care for San Angel. It was very dark, very close together, and the food was only fair. Marrakesh we loved, and we will make it a regular on our trips. The food was great, and we loved the entertainment, especially my 16 yo son. The dancer came over to our table and took my DD up to dance with her. She was the first one and she loved it. We will not return to the SA Inn for a meal, but will check out the tequilla bar on our next trip ! Good luck !! :thumbsup2
