I bought 8gc's at the Sam's in Flagstaff, AZ last weekend. I used those for our Dining Plan and the bonus gc's for personalized Christmas pj's for our Polar Express trip. I will be heading there later next week to get more to use on board and to buy our theme park tickets. If they have enough I'll be getting $200 extra bonus gc's. Then maybe I'll get my D&B Dream tote.

Has anyone been able to figure out what schedule this promotion runs on? I called my local stores (Pittsburgh PA) and they're not available at the moment. I called the main Sams club number and they said that it's an "in store" promotion but was going to have someone call me back that might have more information on them. This will really help with our upcoming trip.

If I book a Disney vacation and/or cruise and pay with my Disney Visa (so I can get the points), can I use the gift cards to pay off my Disney Visa?

I can probably just call my Disney Visa but most of the time, my DIS friends always seem to know much more.

No you can't pay off your Disney Visa with gift cards, Chase wants real cash from you.
What you can do is to purchase the gift cards with your Disney Visa (to get the reward points) and then use the gift cards to pay off your Disney vacation.

Yep, I got 25% off, free shipping and free personalization. Hopefully there will be enough on our next trip to Sam's so we can buy our theme park tickets and spending money. I would love another $210 in gift cards.

Dang, I wish I had something planned to go down to San Diego! The problem is, I am not too sure if calling makes a difference. I called one in Orange County and they said no... I don't have a membership yet, so no chance of going in to the store.

When you place an online order at disneystore.com, you can only apply 1 gift card (including the Disney Store Gift Card) and a credit card for the remaining balance. However, if you wait 20-30 minutes (order has to be partially processed), you can call the 800 number and add the remaining gift cards. Half of the time, they will either say that you can't do it, or that you don't need to do it, since the system assumes the gift card can take the entire balance. If you explain to them that the gift card is only a $10 gift gift card and you need to use additional gift cards to pay for it, they have always been able to do it, (sometime after asking for help). You can't call immediately since they won't be able to see the order #, and you need to do it before they charge your credit card, so don't wait too long.

I actually called and placed my whole order. She patiently entered all 15 of my gift cards so I wouldnt risk having your card charged when you can just call.

... and you cannot use them at the disney store at MCO... BUT... you can go to the disney store and buy a gift card with it and then you can use that at WDW/DCL....

You need to look at the restrictions for using the $10 bonus card. I do not believe they can be used to purchase park passes or gift cards.
