Thankyou for replying! :teeth:

Yes, i'm aware the chances are pretty low but we WILL try, hahaha! ;) So are the DVC CL villas all above the Lobby area then?

& someone told me there is 10 DVC CL villas, 5 2 bedroom lock offs. :confused3

& yes i do LOVE the look of Kidani Village - if we can't get a DVC CL villa that will be our 2nd choice! :goodvibes I prefer Kidani's villa bathrooms anyway! We're keeping our options open since we'll probably do half/half as we're planning on a 2 week holiday, so 1 week AKL & 1 week possibly BLT. :)

Yes, the DVC CL's are all up on the 6th floor surrounding the lobby. (There's only the rooms, Lounge, Elevators and a small balcony overlooking the pool up on the 6th floor.)

I believe that's right - Five 2-bedroom lock-offs; so if you got a 1-bedroom, someone else would get the adjourning studio - leaving 4 2-bedroom lock-offs. Make sense?!!

I've finally made sense of it all!

So do you know how long in advance DVC members can reserve a room? So i know when to start looking into renting points. (We're not planning our trip until late 2012 into 2013 - when the FL expansion is completed or near enough.)

If the DVC member is an Owner at AKV, they can book at 11 months out from arrival date, for up to 7 days. (phones open at 9:00am Eastern time)

If the DVC member doesn't own at that resort, it's 7 months out.

HTHs! :)

Wicked. :thumbsup2

My last question (i promise!), do you know what utensils/crockery is stocked in the DVC villas? Pots & pans? So you can basically cook your own meal there.

I can't say precisely which cookware, etc. is stocked since I don't cook on vacation , but the kitchens are stocked with pots/pans/utensils/plates/bowls/cups/glasses etc.

I can't say which cooking utensils (spatulas, knives, etc.) are stocked but I'm sure we'd have heard lots of complaints if it wasn't sufficient to cook a meal.

One of the other Jamborinis will know and post soon, I'm sure! :thumbsup2 It usually gets pretty quiet around here Friday and Saturday nights!!! :confused3

:woohoo:

Just wanted to share something I heard today.

"Something good will happen, just not today"- a quote that the speaker says anytime that something bad happens;)

So, my something ubber super good, will be the day I lock in my trip to AKL and get to eat my fill of zebra domes:rotfl:

Hahahaa! Fair enough, all my boyfriend wants to know is if the basics are in the kitchen really just so we can have a chicken breast salad, jacket potatoes, pasta etc (obviously buying the food off-site), nothing too fancy! ;)

I have seen kitchen pics from BLT & there was quite alot of kitchen cookware so i assume it'll be the same at Kidani!

:)

Yes you will have enough to cook a basic meal and if something is not there you can always ask. We did a few things there and all was workable and usable.

DH said there was a sauce pan, skillet, pasta pot and cooking utensils. Everything to eat with. Hope this helps.

Thankyou, that's good to know. :thumbsup2

Thought I would stop in and say Hello! I read and am caught up. Just confused on one little tiny thing though......

Yay! Was pricing some stuff out, and realized I can stay at AKL for the last night of my trip and it will be the same as what I'm paying altogether for Pop. Its only the one night, but I'll finally get to stay at the one hotel I've always wanted to stay at, so worth it in my opinion! Now to just get the money to put down the deposit for that one night's stay, lol.

Good morning, Jamborinis:goodvibes

Just found out some friends took a last minute trip to WDW and are staying @ Kidani...I am so darned jealous!

161 more days seem like eternity:scared1:

What is wrong with cooking when your on holiday? :rolleyes1 Well i don't think i would like to be doing the cooking but my boyfriend & his family are quite into it :sad2: it's probably because his Mother is a vegetarian.

They're just fussy with food, but hey i don't mind. ;)

Might aswell make the use of the kitchen, afterall you're paying for the luxury of having one. :confused3

I don't mind cooking on vacation either. Then again, cooking is my relaxing time so I don't mind cooking ever. We don't have a villa on this vacation so no cooking for me and I'll actually be going though withdrawals by the time we get home! :goodvibes

28 days!!! :dance3:
