Sake's Alive! AKL Lite V!!

Hi all

The DIS is running really slow for me, so I haven't seen the last few pages, but I wanted to make sure I stopped by because I won't most likely be back on maybe as late as Monday. I'll be in WDW tomorrow & Friday
And I have to work Sat & Sun.

Almost had all my plans derailed...Came home from a few errands to find Beauty had chewed her way through a ziploc bag, then through an aluminum bottle of suntan lotion I called the hospital right away, they said keep an eye on her, if she is gonna get sick it'll happen soon...She mustn't have had muc because she perfectly fine...Smells like she should be at the beach though Poor baby.


I'm surprising Soctt-ADR's were wide open for tomorrow night, so we're eating @ Biergarden

Congratulations! I know all about addonitis, had a serious bout with it back in January. I have more points than necessary now! I have a trip in October and a trip in May booked as well! I don't own at AKV, but I hope that I can switch my May trip there at 7 month.

I haven't posted a photo of Bob in a while, so since you are all asking I am going to. He has a new task he is working on. Not bad for a guy who 6 months ago was not supposed to survive the week! (please note the skinny legs.... hard to believe I have put 14 pounds on him since the middle of June!)

and just so we stay on topic: the last time we were at AKL he wore this outfit and his tummy stuck out of the shirt a bit.

I haven't posted a photo of Bob in a while, so since you are all asking I am going to. He has a new task he is working on. Not bad for a guy who 6 months ago was not supposed to survive the week! (please note the skinny legs.... hard to believe I have put 14 pounds on him since the middle of June!)

and just so we stay on topic: the last time we were at AKL he wore this outfit and his tummy stuck out of the shirt a bit.

To all those leaving on trips have fun and enjoy.

I get to go have me time( get my nails done) and then I have to work on organizing, purging and cleaning my room. Kids' rooms got done yesterday. My room not going to be fun, but I will be thinking about zebra domes

Good morning! We're back... We are definitely now believers and loved every minute of our AKL stay! It was awesome! We loved the lounge and especially the view from the room. About 30 minutes after we were checked in, someone knocked on the door. They were delivering four chocolate "suckers" and a birthday present for DGS2. He loved it there so much! He also loved the non-stop apple juice.

Hi Everyone, we are going for a 1 week stay at AKL Club level and my husband is a photographer and will be taking an expensive camera. We don't want to take it everyday to the parks with us, are there safes in the room and are they large enough for a standard size camera?

I have only stayed DVC so don't know if they are different, I have a NIKON D80 and the body will fit in there but my 200MM lens and my macro will not fit in there.

That being said, I have left it in the room MANY, MANY times and never had a problem with. I have NEVER had a problem with mousekeeping .

I know that many people have answered, but I have taken my D300 to WDW a few times (normally I take a point & shoot for Disney) and I don't think that I have ever been able to fit it in the safe. To be honest, I just leave it in my room in the camera bag. I also leave my laptop on the desk. One of these days, I'm sure it will catch up with me, but ignorance is bliss.
