Hey dose anyone have any kiddos around 8-10 yrs old?
I have a guy who will be turnning 9 july 27th. Hes not super shy but it takes him a bit to get to know someone.... needless to say its a little harder when your on a time schedule!
He's likes legos, games (board and video) he likes to play sports.he has 4 really good "boy" friends but he also gets along really well with his girly friends.
Anyways if you have someone who would like to have a pen pal friend to get to know each other before the cruise let me know

Jen (royfam) -our DS is 9 and will still be 9 when we cruise. He likes football (soccer) watching phineaus and ferb and his video games. His two sisters are coming on the cruise. I have a trippie and pre-trippie in my sig take a look, its good to put a face to name

Thats a great idea about posting a thread....I too am sure someone has been in similar shoes.
WE ARE SO SO EXCITED!!!!! The kids are going to miss so many days of school but ill deal with that when we get to it. I think I think I have planned it so at least they wont be missing any major tests. I was hard on them when we went on the panama cannal cruise, but man was it worth it

The teen thread was mickeyminniemelanie's idea, she is the one who had the idea for it and started the thread

On page #5 post 63 you will find the Roll Call List, it has the ages of the children so far sailing on our cruise to give you a better idea on the children who are the same age as your DD.

my family is going to be on this cruise.
Me, My brother his wife and two kids, and our parents!!! My mom's first cruise since the 80's which she was sick the entire time!!! I have done 3, 4 nighters. one on the wonder 2 on the dream. I'm excited for our first 7 day!!!

Anyone on facebook and want to start a facebook group? I did it for my last cruise and it was so much fun!!

We are officially booked

I cant wait!!!!!!! My DH and I (and our foster son) were able to book the same room for both cruises...Yeah I dont have to pack up and move all our stuff, however my kids and friend have a guaranteed 11b stateroom for the first cruise and then the room across from us on the second...there's already a family booked in it for the first one I keep telling myself itll be OK if were not right by each other... I just like being able to physically be able to see my kids (like at night when they come back from thier clubs... I know brandon will be weeks from being 18 but he will always be my baby Plus I totaly love and trust my friend, shes watched my kids before ehrn I went to DC with my DH.

Thanks For tip on the teen thread... we had one for our last cruise, my kids loved it!

Its been awhile since ive been on here I know you can post pics but forgot how to, Ill play around for a bit and try to get a pic up of our crazy crew

beth- I hear ya on the excursions...first step for us book cruise...now save for excursions...I guess Im not to stressed seing how weve been on the eastern and the western before and kinda already did the big thing we wanted to do and now we have our little guy so were really limited

Speaking of which anyone have any tips on traveling with a baby on a cruise??
My youngest was 3 the first time we took a cruise.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

My family and I will be joining you
This will be our 5th Disney cruise (the other 4 were on the the magic) and we will be staying on board for a 6th, the oct 13th western cruise, doing a back to back!
My oldest turnes 18 Nov 1st so this is his last chance to be part of the teens I'm a little worried about missing that much school since one of mine takes collage classes and one is going to be a freshman in high school, not to mention my husband teaches at the collage here....oh well anything is worth if for a disney cruise!!!

So there's Me ill be 34, My DH will be 38, My oldest DS will be weeks from 18 so 17, my DD will be 14, my youngest DS wil be 9, and our foster son (hopefully our son by then) will be 14 months...I'm also bringing my friend who will be 29 ( I think) to help me with the baby... He has medical needs. So thats us... super excited its gona take me awhile to get caught up on the threads but ill start tonight.

We would love to join the FE group. I love the idea of splitting up the group when it gets large. We did the FE on our last cruise and it was quite time consuming going all over the ship for more than 60 people. I clicked on the link for submitting our info for the FE, so hopefully Beth will get it.
Can't wait to meet everyone and looking forward to October getting here sooner rather than later.

NO but they might be on a long one when we get back

Luckly my two older do well in school...They were my big concern (sine they are in highschool/collage) but hopefully we can get homework from the teachers and do some online. They missed two weeks before when we did the panama cannal crossing...it was hard, but we have some great memories.
